Very convenient location, 7 minutes walk to the city center. 4 minutes walk to a subway station. Many restaurants and cafes nearby!! Room was comfortable and exactly what we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property for any visitors to Praque!!

It was an absolute mess to go through the automated self check-in kiosk process, which didn’t work and required us to call concierge to do some tech support. Automated self check-out also didn’t work. Door buzzer code worked intermittently. Shower pressure wasn’t even strong enough to cover the full shower space. Basically, this stay was a contradiction - nice room and comfy space, but lots of random annoyances and frustrations.

Not as expected

First of all no service at all during arrival. Code to the entry door at the street did not work.. check in through a kiosk on level 5 where the elevator was avalible, got a room on floor 3 in a different staircase without elevator. Room was nice and clean but had no ventilation or control to the ac. The room did not have any noise insulation so every sound from the hallway could have been in the room. Also breakfast and reception was 10 min walk away along with the bag storage room ( we had a couple of hours before transfer)

I would give it a 5 stars BUT. it’s the hotel without reception only with self checking kiosk. So if you have an issue with check in application, in our case it was frozen on one page, you are actually stuck without help. And as a tourist that just arrived to Czechia I did not have local provider to make a call. So literally you are alone with the comp that at that moment didn’t work. It should be solution for such cases.

La Chambre était correcte, par contre la porte en bois du couloir claque à chaque entrée ou sortie des gens, cela m'a fait sursauté plus d'une fois, manque un peu d'insonorisation de ce côté. Mais il faudrait aussi envisager d'harmoniser les information que vous donner au client et d'éviter de le faire au compte goutte, car quand je suis arrivée, une famille d'asiatique prenais l'ascenseur avant moi pour aller au 5eme étages, quand le suis arrivé derrière eux, c'est moi qui leur ai ouvert la porte avec le code d'accès, il n'y arriver pas, le marie était redescendu, je leur est donner le code pour déverrouiller la porte d'accès du 5eme, après ils ont récupérer leurs clé et pris possession de leur chambre alors que moi je ne savais pas ou aller à ma chambre, j'ai vu des message sur les téléphone d'autre client que moi je n'ai pas eu, avoir 1 mail très clair en fonction de la chambre choisi devrais être suffisant pour éviter que les informations se perde en cour de chemin, comme avec un deuxième couple plus tard. Cependant je reconnais la rapidité du gardien qui sais déplacer à 1h du matin pour m'ouvrir la porte, mais après son passage, j'ai trouver que si j'avais eu une information clair dès le départ, son passage aurais pu être évité, et moi je n'aurais pas attrapé un coup de froid pendant que je l'attendait et que j'envoyer des messages dans le froid.

Timmeslång incheckning

Utan reservationsnummer och med felaktigt tfn nummer till hotellets reception blev incheckning extremt besvärlig. Se till att få korrekta uppgifter vid bokning för att er incheckning ska bli möjlig.

Bekvämt boende i centrala Prag

Liten hiss till fina rum på 5:e våningen. Reception och frukost ligger knapt 10 minuter bort i närheten av Karlsbron. Personal mötte upp vid den annars annonyma ingången till boendet.

Nice room, but very alternative arrangement...

Room was fine, but was located in a different place than the main hotel. Much confusion by both me and the hotel management about how I was able to book the room, as it had been closed for covid. Consequently the check in process was a bit of a mess, that was eventually sorted out. Note that room is about 10 blocks from main hotel where (a good) breakfast is served. Nice people, just logistically complex.

Dont by this

They have pictures that show a nice cosy reception in a building that match old Prague. They didn't have a reception no signs on the street or on the building. We had to find the phone no to them on the website, the first two nos from their website didn't respond or didn't know them. Finally we found a man living in the building who helped us contact them. They came with the key 15 min later. The room was cold and not well equiped, no chairs no bin ect.

1. There was a changed of plan and I arrived one day later then originally intended. I notified the owners but there was no response the Expedia web site has oferred no solution other than cancelling the whole reservation with no refund. 2. There are two "old town residence" in Prague, the one is Jilská street was the one in which Google maps directed me and I waisted quite a lot of time until I found out that I was in the wrong place. The correct place is Maiselova street. 3. When I arrived at Maiselova street there was no one there and no phone number on the closed door that you can call. 4. After a lot of time I found in the e-mail a phone number to call and finally somebody arrive and gave me the key. 5. Probably the worst experience I had ever in booking a hotel room.

Had a great 10 days at Prague Old Town Residence. Called the provided number when we were about 5 minutes away and were met by a nice young man who showed us to our room on the 5th floor. Easy... Location was absolutely perfect. Everything you could want was within 10 minute walk. If not, Uber would meet right @ door. AC was good and necessary while there. Bed was super comfortable as were linens and pillows. Fridge was a nice touch and room was modern and roomy. Bathroom was very modern as well. Plenty quiet and easily acceptable. Absolutely zero complaints; highly recommended. Thanks!!

hotel ligt centraal

In het begin vonden wij het een beetje apart aankomen. Je moet van te voren bellen en de receptie dat wordt weergegeven op de foto is van het andere filiaal. Het is alsof je je eigen stekkie binnenkomt. Het is knus, gezellig en mooi. Het is wel erg gehorig. Je hoort de buren goed. Dat is het enige minpuntje.

All in all disapointing!

We waitet about two hours until we could enter the room we booked. Although the guy at the telephone told us, he would be waiting for us as long as it tooks, there was no one available. Never again!!!
