"Great value and comfy as solo woman traveler. Helpful and responsive staff. The bathrooms stay clean even though they’re shared with the other women on the floor. Breakfast is simple. As a vegetarian I stacked up on the fruits and they cook fresh eggs. My hostel roommates were nice and from other places in the world. 24 hour service and the taxi was helpful when I arrived at 1:30am to Salvador. There are nice common areas to meet other people. It would be nice for Lanranjeiras to have games on hand for people to play. And there would be music into the night but I didn’t mind but something to consider if you’re sensitive to sound. The AC unit works great and kept the room very cool. Overall, this was a great stay."

"Great place! Great deal. Clean, safe, nice breakfast, wonderful staff, hot water in shower, & smack in the heart of Pelhourino. So yes, be prepared for weekend music outside window until midnight & then some street noise. But was fine for me. (No elevator but staff help carry stuff upstairs.) I'd gladly stay again."

It's incredibly easy to get around on foot to many of the top visitor sights and sites as well as some great restaurants across different price points. It's also excellent value and the staff are really great and incredibly helpful and pro-active."

"Loved this hotel. Beautiful lobby and restaurant as well as rooftop bar and pool. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and museums. Would go back!"

"Exceptional and kind owner and staff. They were good listeners, informative about area and safety, engaging, and caring. Americans and Europeans should learn more about cultural and living standards before going so as not to be shocked by room layouts and bathroom designs and bed placement as well as lack of face cloths. Also, lack of screened windows. Refrigeration prep and ice buildup are concerns. I was very pleased with the flexibility of owner and staff. They all showed concern and looked after my travel companion and me. I loved the location and access to a myriad of transportation, recreation, culture, cafes, shopping, entertainment, educational sources and resources. Overall, my stay was magnificent!
