Nice surroundings but close to main thoroughfare and restaurants and just across from downtown. (I brought a sleeping pill to sleep through the moderate street noise). Coffee available in lobby, nice surroundings and friendly bilingual personal, easy check in. Great value, recommended! "

"Cute little hotel in downtown Liberia. It's pretty basic but clean and the staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. After our flight was cancelled on a Saturday evening, we ended up at El Cerro along with many others from the flight. The staff worked hard to get everyone settled, gave us late night dinner options, and booked cabs back to the airport for the morning. So grateful to the wonderful front desk person on Sat March 21!"

"We had an amazing time at Buena Vista Eco lodge. We stayed in the cabins and it was such a clean and cute accommodation. The buffet breakfast was excellent, we couldn’t have asked for more. We ate at both the Jaguar and the Mirador restaurant, the Jaguar had a wider selection and the food was delicious, while the Mirador is lighter fare but with stunning views of the country side and sunset.
