Then hold your ID till you give them cash. They give the cash back after you returned the key when checking out. Room was cheap and the shower was nice. I would stay there again. "

"Lovely place to stay in San Francisco if you want to meet new people while having a more realistic feel for living in the city (vs. hotel living). Space is quiet and roomy with a lot of different people coming into the hostel. Plus there's activities to do daily and great recommendations of things to try hung up on the walls in the common room.
