Great big room for a family. It was a different check in procedure with only a code, and we never saw a worker the entire time we were there, even at the complimentary breakfast, (which was lovely). So that was kind of weird but it worked.

you get what you pay for. A reasonable price for a totally outdated hotel. The rooms are clean but haven‘t been updated for ages. In the lamps still the good old energy saving bulls are flickering. Breakfast is simple. The location is ok, it’s close to shops and about 10 mins to the old town. The parking in the underground garage is very convenient.

Our worst hotel-stay for as long as I can remember. No reception, terrible cleaning (if any), no personell in the hotel, poor food for breakfast, and loud drunk people at night. The only ok thing was the beds, they were alright. I don’t think this hotel should be offered in Hotels.com. When we arrived we could not even get inside.

Electronic things did work well. No probems with opening the garage gate or room door. Problem - door from garage to hotel - was stuck. First we tought - it is locked. After applying more force we could open it, but this is not normal that I must break something to get in. Breakfest was pleasant with one exception - scrambled eggs was made on principe - more salt, less eggs.

Not good vakue for the money for us

-Notice that hotel has no reception, number code to get in -Rooms and interior are too old and we found mold on the shower floor. Elevator was small and slow, 5 floors -breakfest is not so great variety than usual in Finnish hotels. Many things ran out and nobody was seen anywhere to ask for more. No service and dishes were piling on the tables. There were bread and toppings, carelian pies ran out, sausages and eggs (so much salt that we could not eat at all), vegetarian version ran out, special coffee machine was broken, normal coffee was found, yogurt and mysli. -overall would not stay here again with this high price, luckily we had only one night.

The emailed check in with door codes and parking were good. The room was very basic but fine. One twin bed was more of a cot width but worked ok. There were zero plugs available by the bed so we had to string our cords from the opposite wall. One bed only had a chair to use as a bedside table. The air conditioning unit was dripping on the floor by the door and the bathroom and had created a small puddle. We found that we were only provided with 1 each towel/handtowel/bathmat for two guests so I contacted the hotel through Expedia and directly according to the sign on the wall of the room’s directions (no staff anywhere on site) to report the drip and ask for more towels so we could both shower. We put the bathmat on the floor under the drip to prevent possible slip and falls, particularly because my mother is 80. We finally received a response of a picture of a piece of furniture in a hallway somewhere in the hotel with towels in it but no real explanation about half and hour before we would have had to check out - we had already left. About 20 minutes later, I got a response regarding the air conditioning issue that said they would have maintenance look at it. So, we had no bath mat for a very wet shower situation (as many in Europe are), and I used the hand towel to dry off so my mom could use the regular towel.The towel warmer was good. Don’t arrive after 8 and expect to eat anywhere around- they close early. Grocery store was open though. Good location. OK breakfast.
The room was accessible, but would not ever pay this much for it again.
The ceiling outside our room, I’m guessing that the AC had previously acted up as well.
The entrance is actually on the side of the building, but it takes you into that spiral staircase that goes up to the restaurant. Your room code opens the door at the back of the building that will get you to the elevator with minimal stairs.

Pysäköinti oli epäselvästi ohjeistettu. Ajoin väärään parkkihalliin ja oli epämukava peruutella ahtaassa paikassa. Oikea parkkihallin suulla oli kohouma, joka osui auton pohjaan ajaessa alas halliin. Hallissa ei ollut kylttejä mistä ovesta pääsee hotelliin sisälle. Lisäksi hotellissa oli ohjeistus vain takaovelle kulku, jouduin jonkun aikaa etsimään hotellin etuovea. Ohjeistuksessa sanottiin parkkeeraamisen hinnan olevan huokea, kun oikeasti olisi saanut parkkeerata Porvoon torille ilmaiseksi. Nyt maksoin siitä turhaan 11,50e. Baarikaappi oli tyhjä, mikä oli hieman pettymys. Muuten viihdyin. Sisälle sekä uloskirjautuminen oli helppoa, kun pääsi vain koodilla huoneeseen sisään.

Ei respaa. Koodilla sisään. Huone todella karu ja fiilis että on joskus tupakoitu. Siisteys ok, mutta ilme elähtänyt, lähes kaurismäkeläinen. Aamiaistila viihtyisä ja aamiainen oli melko yksinkertainen, mutta riittävä kuitenkin. Pysäköintihallista käynti suoraan huoneisiin.
