This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Porto. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed with so much charm. We loved the complimentary welcome drink, it was such a thoughtful touch! Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

Hotel is nice and modern however room service could be better. Rooms were not always cleaned properly and on one of the days it’s was completely missed! Service at the bar is inconsistent and extremely slow!

We had a lovely stay at The Lodge Porto. The hotel is beautiful, with a warm, modern design and lots of wood throughout. Our room was spotless, with wooden flooring, a very comfortable bed and pillows, excellent air conditioning, a useful mini fridge for keeping drinks cold, and a safe for valuables. The staff were a young, friendly team and always polite. They also spoke several languages, which made communication easy. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of hot and continental items. The pastry and sweet selection was particularly good. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar, where the food and drinks were very nice. The only areas for improvement were housekeeping, which was a little inconsistent with replenishing room supplies, and the lost property process. A friend accidentally left a charger and console cable in their room, but unfortunately they were never recovered after we reported them. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily recommend the hotel.

Nice property. Very clean and new, the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, we found the staff not very friendly the hotel was a bit sterile feeling (no music and cold). A good place to sleep but not to hang out. Far from the city center, about a 10 minute uber each time there and back so just know this is not walkable to some of the main attractions. We found ourselves trying to find extra things to do so we wouldn’t have to Uber back and hang out/take a break at the hotel because it was so far and lack of overall hospitality. But, safe, clean, and okay to stay if you are okay with a bit of a commute.

This is most suitable for coach parties since it is far from city centre and very limited local restaurants/bars especially in the evening. Breakfast choice is good but getting a coffee can take absolutely ages as machines frequently break down. It is good value for money but one must weigh cons and pros. Double glazing in room does not keep out noise from the street. Staff were corporate and one gave inaccurate facts such as transport options during strikes. On balance we would not choose to return.

The Log Porto Hotel was an amazing place to stay at! It was close to two major metro stations making it easy to get to and from downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and breakfast was divine. As two girls staying at this hotel we felt very safe! I would highly recommend staying here, especially when visiting Porto!

Buffet breakfast was amazing; such variety with hot and cold options. Hotel wasn’t within walk proximity to downtown, but Uber and Metro very efficient. We enjoyed a drink in the beautiful bar lobby at the end of our days, and the hotel was quiet and seemed to attract a mature clientele. We would definitely stay again.

This place is a nightmare that only looks nice from the outside. There is always one single person at the front desk, which of course will lead to long lines especially during peak travel season. We had to wait a while to check in, and when we got to the room we realized that the coffee machine wasn't working properly (water came out instead of coffee). When we called reception to ask for help instead of offering assistance they kept asking us if we had turned the machine on correctly. Then there's the actual room, the shower temperature and pressure kept on oscillating between low and high and never actually stayed consistent which led to either scalding hot or freezing cold water. Nothing in between. The walls/doors are paper thin so we could hear everything in the hallway at all times. The rooms never got fully cleaned (crumbs and dirt everywhere). And the staff at breakfast were giving us dirty looks for taking multiple plates of food (even though we ate all of the food?). I felt uncomfortable the whole time and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Das Personal an der Rezeption und im Restaurant war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber, großzügig geschnitten und es war sehr leise, sodass man hervorragend schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück war für unseren deutschen Geschmack etwas unbefriedigend. Hauptsächlich Gebäck und Süßspeisen sowie Speck und Bohnen. Aber alles in allem können wir dieses Hotel nur empfehlen.
