Loved my stay at Sandeman. Room was really lovely, view across the river gorgeous, shower brilliant. Nice location and loved the lounge area. Staff I interacted with were also very lovely.

I was pleasantly suprised, this was a really good hostel. Great location, clean, safe, you actually get enough space to yourself without feeling invaded. I got the 1 bed in 7bedroom space. Definitely worth your money. The only downside is the breakfast is a bit limited, but you can always order and pay for more options

This was by far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, and the facilities were spotless and beautifully designed. Everything was perfect. We stayed in a River View room and loved watching the sunset and Porto’s night lights right from our window — no need to go out to enjoy the view. The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. If we visit beautiful Porto again, we’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful view over the Douro river. Central location for our port house wine touring. Made to order breakfast + additional buffet was satisfying. Bed was firm/hard, but this wasn’t a big issue for our one-night stay. We stayed in a private room - I believe this location has dorm/hostel rooms as well.

A lovely stay in a safe area. The staff are really helpful and nice. The beds are large and comfortable. The breakfast is simple and buffet-style with some fresh items like eggs made to order. They offer 24/7 water and luggage storage. I hope to see more bins placed around (since the only one is in Kitchen). Overall a good stay, I recommend it.
