Spotless and well designed. Good location to everything. Very comfortable beds. Better for younger people without much luggage, however we were able to avoid steep inner staircase by storing our luggage on the entry shelf.

This was our second stay. We were in the basement apartment which was just fine for our overnight. The manager was super cooperative and the two women who clean and are there in the day were very accommodating. I will stay here again.

Everything great except matress

Everything about this place is great— location, cleanliness, kitchenette— except the mattress gave me back pain and felt very thin and cheap. If they change the mattress I would definitely come back again!

Unbelievable gem in the center of Porto

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Portotem, and it was truly a delightful experience. Nice accomodation in Porto

Nice guest house. The woman that clean the hotel (no day room clean) is very nice and helps always with smiles. The only problem Is the bad smell from the shower tube... The hotel is near to city center.

The owner of the place was easy to communicate with and hospitality. The staff Maria was heartwarming and helpful. The room are cleaned and tidy. One downside is that the bed is caved in on one side. Close to everything, all in walkable distance. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was very cosy and clean in general. I would appreciate some detergent to clean the glasses and cups. It was easy to reach the owner and it was possible to leave the bags after the check-out time for free.

Great place to stay in Porto

This room surprised me. It was an amazing stay. The bed, the decoration, the kitchen, the bathroom, all was really great. The only downside was that I was expecting to have a washing machine. The way to get into the room is easy. I had difficulty to paid the city tax because I rented the room on Hotels.com. I would love if that website could add the city tax so it make it easier for us to paid that city tax. I let the money on the kitchen counter for the renter and I hoped it reached him.

The room looked good but it’s two single beds for a double that kept sliding apart and wasn’t comfy memory foam. Air con didn’t work well. Location is close to city centre and main shops but is a 20-30 minute walk up and down hills to main areas of restaurants and river etc. also couldn’t leave bags on last day as reception is unmanned. It was fine for a couple of nights and still loved our time in the city

Look somewhere else to stay

By far the worst experience ive encountered. When we first arrived at the hotel the door was locked and disnt have a a way in. Had to call the number registered to the property to find out on how to enter. The gentleman on the phone insisted that he sent me an email with both sets of numbers to enter the building and our room. Upon entering the room we found it to be very spacious to accommodate our groups with ease. This is where it continues to go downhill. There were 2 single beds and a pull out sofa bed. Thats not the bad part. The sofa bed where my wife and slept on was the worse of the worse. The mattress was completely sunken in that when we faced each other we actually rolled into each other. The pillows were soft and worn out from being used for too long for which i still have a kink in my neck almost a week later. During the night we could hear everything that was going on outside. No sound barrier walls at all. Oh ya i cant forget the 8 euros i had to leave behind in cash for "city tax" its safe to say i won't be going back or recommending.

Wir hatten einen tollen Stadttrip. Die Stadt ist wunderschön, es gibt vieles zu sehen. Die Menschen sind sehr nett, das Essen sehr gut. Die Unterkunft war super, sehr gut zufuss erreich bar. ÖV sind alle in der nehe, falls man weiter weg fahren möchte. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Der Apartment ist sehr schön, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Es gibts auch eine kleine gut ausgerüsstete Küche falls man kochen möchte, wir haben sie nicht gebraucht, da wir immer draussen gegessen haben. Insgesamt sind wir sehr zufrieden, würden sher gerne wieder hin gehen und empfehlen es auf jeden Fall.
