"From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. "This hotel is a hidden gem. It’s about four minutes from the airport and very quiet. The staff were incredibly kind. The villa was spotless, and we slept like a dream. Breakfast was delivered to the villa and it was very good. We also went to see the horses, it was fun. "

"The girl that it was at the front desk was super nice, the cleaning ladies were the best, being Americans we like a lot of towels and they gave us all the towels that we needed. "Our experience at the hotel was fabulous. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. I can say I didn't encounter any staff who weren't great. The room was spotless and a good size. Our balcony overlooked downtown and the harbour beyond. The breakfast included fruit, cheese and bread along with items such as omelettes cooked to order. We also, enjoyed our stop at the bar/restaurant. Overall, a very enjoyable visit to Ponta Delgada. We would definitely stay at this hotel again."
