I was in town for the No Dough VW Show and wanted a convenient, clean place to stay where I could easily park my bus. This place fit the bill. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is even an ice machine just off the lobby I was able to use daily for my cooler. I also like to stay where I can have breakfast and they’ve got it. However, it does not begin until 7:00 AM which, in my opinion, is at least an hour too late. Due to the timing of the events I was attending, I never got to enjoy it. There is a Starbucks across the street that opens at 5:30 AM so I was able to grab a bite on the go. This hotel is also located adjacent to I-95 so it’s very convenient if you come in off the interstate. They have trailer parking at the rear of the hotel and there are plenty of gas stations, restaurants , and pharmacies on Dunlawton. I’ll stay again for certain.

The hotel is newer and well maintained. The sad part is that the folks that stay there aren't of a quality that I'd feel comfortable staying there again. Examples are: the Port Orange Police Department knocked on the adjacent room to mine TWICE while I was there. Both times different guests left the room with an officer. Then there was a loud group of hotel guests (I'm assuming) partying, drinking, smoking, and talking VERY LOUDLY by the pool, which was RIGHT OUTSIDE my room, even though I was on the 4th Floor. I could hear them all night, which kept me awake. The AC in the room was either on at a TOO COLD temp or completely off. No window to open. I didn't sleep at all. Not sure what the management could've done, as it wasn't their fault. But I was so exhausted the next day after my stay there that I could barely drive myself back home (which was only 1 hour away).

We liked watching the boats travel on the ICW only a few yards behind our unit. Deerfield is a great location to visit with the beach only a few blocks away, the fishing pier, and several great restaurants, but it's quite expensive to stay here for more than a couple days with very high room rates, taxes, and fees.

I love that the rooms are NOT carpeted. This makes it possible to have a much cleaner room. Theres nothing worse than going to a hotel that has cheap, old carpeting in the rooms. The hotel was nice enough and convenient for our event. Only complaint was the breakfast person; he was very rude and seemed annoyed to be there. It was so bad that we didn't even return to breakfast on the followind day, a Sunday.

Very indifferent front desk staff. Seldom smiled, begrudging attitude while checking in. Our experience started with opening the door to our room only to find it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Went downstairs to inform the desk staff and they immediately changed the room but never extended the common courtesy of even saying "I'm sorry" or anything else. Again, indifferent and uncaring.

This property is older. It does not have regular ac they are wall units and it does not keep the temperature constant. You get hot and cold and hot and cold with in minutes. The sheets are not breathable so it makes it worse. I ended up having to go back home in the middle of the night cuz I could not sleep

Mold in the ice machine. Staff when we checked in friday evening was less than personable. Very disappointed- we have stayed here on our way to the florida keys every year for the past decade. I think we will have to look elsewhere. Just not as good as it once was. Breakfast was lacking also. Just a shame

we got there early but was allowed to check in with no hassle since our rooms were ready...ALL the staff was EXTREMELY friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs or requests...it's obvious customer service is a priority...this hotel definitely deserves its high customer rating...5 ⭐'s all the way round...
