"I selected the Springhill Suites Hotel in Cottonwood because it was more reasonably priced than hotels in Sedona, which was our ultimate destination. It ended up exceeding expectations, as Sedona was unexpectedly very crowded and staying there would have been a nightmare. Cottonwood was small and manageable with a cute historic downtown and many dining options. The hotel itself was in such pristine condition that I asked the staff member at the front desk how long it had been opened, as there was not a scratch on the walls nor a scuff on the floors. I expected to hear that it had been open 5 or 6 months, so was very surprised to hear that the hotel had been open for 4 or 5 years. The maintenance of this hotel was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning, which included a wide variety of breakfast items."

"The rooms were very nice. They were well thought out, roomy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was made well and everything was hot. The only oddity was, you can not drive up to grab a cart to unload your luggage and take to your room. Instead they have a valet service to help with that or an occasional guy in a golf cart offering you a ride from the parking lot. All in all, we were very happy with the accommodations and look forward to staying there in the future."
