"The staff was quite rude and with attitude. No free water is absolutely ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. No drinks with a dinner is very strange. Buffet style dinner was amazing, but the portions of the evening meals were like for children."

"Great room and absolutely beautiful food we loved the spa room and the pool. The kids really enjoyed the cinema. The room was very clean and there was good game rooms and the view outside was to die for. The only bad thing was that you had to carry your skis around 350 meters before you could get to the skiing spot. Overall we had a blast and we recommend it as a place to have your ski holiday and relax. It is a lot of fun for both kids and parents 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This was my 6th stay at the hotel and it might have been the last one. They are expanding and building a huge aqua park within the hotel premises, which once finished will be great BUT I paid 1,500 pln per night in the hotel and was exposed to heavy machinery and construction noises from 6am in the morning all the way till 10pm. Non stop noise! No mention of it at the check it by the hotel staff, paid extra for room with a view of the Tatra Mountains and got extra noise with my money instead! The construction will continue till the 2028, just saying… really disappointed!"

"The check-in and staff were great. Super cheerful and nice. The room, bring ear plugs. I didn't realize the "mountain view" also means all the rooms face the street and its just noisy because its the main street into town. The windows/door sound like its cracked open because it was so loud to me. (and if your sensitive to light, bring an eyemask too, the triangle window at the top has no curtain) Breakfast was 13E per person and it quaint. Eggs and sausage made to order. (sausage means hot dogs by the way) The use of the sauna was an extra 14E per person. The free bus into town is right outside. The little lake is right next to the hotel (but its frozen right now) and its just about an 8 min walk to the bigger lake strba pleso! "

"The room was clean and comfy the only complaint i have was the temperature of the radiators being lukewarm, not suitable for the cold climate, there was a electric fan but it took all day to warm the room . Some staff were courteous some just ignore you. The amenities were not good, it had a restaurant on the ground floor open to anyone . The food was amazing and reasonably priced. However the hotel ran the reception from the restaurant counter so you ordered , paid for food and drinks from this one small counter which was no always manned due to the waitresses cooking , serving and cleaning all at the same time . On leaving we asked could we stay until 10.30am due to our pick up was not untill 11am and was told yes to 10.30am but not 11am . Whilst we were grateful we had this extra 30mins there was no where to wait inside because the hotel doesn’t having a reception area / lounge . We stood just inside the door so we could stay warm . Hotel staff ignored us never offered us a seat in the restaurant until we were due to go . If you book this hotel make sure you're pick up to the airport is an early one because there is no hotel waiting area .!! Would i go back to Zakopane yes ! Would i return to The Willa Amicus No !"

"We had a great stay at the Kempinski High Tatrus. This hotel had an established, genuinely 5 star feel. It knows what it is, and delivers brilliantly. The setting is outstanding, with a frozen lake and snow on the ground, but we didn’t see a cloud in 4 days. The service is great, and the breakfast generous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; there is a pillow and duvet menu… all in a great stay. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Szlakami 5 Dolin. The view is beautiful. The apartment was perfect. We arrived late so there wasn’t anyone at the reception but we received all the info before we arrived and had a smooth check in. We tried the Sauna one evening and it was good. The staff were lovely. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. There is no housekeeping service which was abit of let down. It is far out from central and no transport closeby. It is great if you have a car. Otherwise, it will have to be a taxi to central. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Overall good stay."
