"This was a great location, room was nice and breakfast was good. We had a really nice stay. My criticism is the spa rules were not consistent and regimented concerning hours spent as a hotel guest even when it was not busy. I think it is a shame that they don’t have a pool for families. The pool is only used for people 18 years and older. The spa services were not available on the weekend which is surprising during peak season."

"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, spacious, and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but...

"Staff, room, and restaurant were amazing. Great communication. Easy check in. Beautiful/comfortable room. All good was well labeled. They even made me a gluten free breakfast to go. I would highly recommend for people with food allergies."

"We only stayed one night but after being here I wish we had a chance to extend the trip. The hotel was amazing. The staff were all so kind and helpful and I couldn’t get over how incredible the views were. This exceeded any expectations I had!!! "Too expensive for what was actually received with a lot of hidden fees and costs not mentioned in booking (including a tourist fee). The gym is not on site even though it is mentioned in the booking. As a solo traveler, I felt judged multiple times by the staff especially during check in by the front desk receptionist who mainly appeared annoyed I was bothering her when she seemed about to get off her shift (I was asked if I was staying here many more times than the average group of visitors...

"Parking right next to the hotel (for a fee). We loved the location and ability to easily walk into town. The room was clean and had what we needed. Three negatives: (1) the walls are VERY thin; we could hear our neighbors talking fairly clearly from the hallway and in our room, (2) the shower is very small and was leaking over the floor and (3) there is no elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs, but the staff did offer to help! Nonetheless, would stay here again as the staff were...

"An oasis of tranquility and authentic Alpine architecture in a very busy touristy town. Super great owners and staff, spotless clean, short easy walk to town and the lake, quiet and peaceful. If you like the typical modern, minimalist, ugly hotel, don't book here, it's the opposite! Homey, comfortable, relaxed. Great base to explore the natural beauty. Don't miss the short side trip to Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj for postcard views and maybe less crowds than Bled."
