Delightful countryside accomodation

We sysyed just a one night stay at Hotes Belard, a very restful stay ,in the countryside yet close to historic Locronan, free parking great breakfast, very comfortsble, will definitely return.

If you are ok with the gîte concept, this is a superb find. Nancy is a wonderful hostess and warmth is her middle name. Superb breakfast and plenty to eat. Enjoy your stay!

A Wonderful Gite in the West of Brittany

The gite at chambre d'Hotes Belard is fantastic. I wish i had had more time to stay and i can highly recommend others to stay here. The room was clean. No TV (but that is no issue - take a laptop or ipad and you can hook up to the internet and watch what you want as i did). The breakfast was to die for. Lovely prune conserve with brown bread, a boiled egg, apple juice (fresh), coffee. The host is so wonderful and warm. You will be well looked after

Beaucoup d’humidité dans les chambres. Le personnel est réactif et disponible mais on a pas vraiment l’impression d’être dans une chambre d’hôte. Cela est accentué par le fait qu’il y a plusieurs bâtiments distincts et peu pratique pour accéder aux espaces communs et petit-déjeuner surtout lorsqu’il pleut.

Lieblos und nüchtern

Aufgrund der Bilder im Internet haben wir uns auf unserer Bretagne-Reise für das Chambre d'hotes Belard entschieden. Leider wurden wir ziemlich enttäuscht. Der Empfang durch die Hausdame war eher unfreundlich, wir hatten das Gefühl, dass wir grad stören. Das Zimmer war sehr minimalistisch und lieblos eingerichtet, das WC lediglich durch einen Vorhang vom Zimmer getrennt. Das Frühstück war soweit ok, wenn auch nicht übermässig mit Käsescheibletten aus dem Vakuumpack (ich denke, Frankreich hat in Sachen Käse mehr zu bieten). Wir können diese Lokation nicht mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Très belle endroit et lieu

Endroit calme et magnifique. Un excellent petit déjeuner le matin avec un accueil très rare par des hôtes très gentils. Nous avons eu un souci de circulation cette route de campagne très exceptionnelle.

We met Nancy who is now a very good friend for life. We miss her already and if a room at her hotel was for sale we would buy one, so that we could be closer to her, the beach and her lovely mother in law who is still beautiful at age 101.

Bon séjour

Malgré un accueil expéditif, la chambre était propre et le petit déjeuner bon. La cuisine commune est appréciable. L'environnement extérieur est calme et verdoyant. Le corps de ferme est joliment rénové. Néanmoins, le plancher est en bois, demandez une chambre à l'étage si vous ne souhaitez pas entendre les autres locataires marcher.
