"Very pleasant stay, everything works well. Jorge is very helpful and able to arrange even with trips. He provides informations about the area, Alajuela, history and recommendations. Nicely organized place, all rooms are on ground floor, very safe and secured. It is very walkable and you can observe the nice and charming downtown of Alajuela. Close to the airport, since Juan Santamaría airport is located in Alajuela. Definitely stay here next time."

"Room was clean, good amenities and fantastic location for the airport so helps with convenience. Breakfast also pretty good, reasonable buffet selection without being too much. Coffee was superb (Britt). Only issue we had was first time staying they only had a room with a sofabed left even though we booked a room with two doubles. Not ideal after 12 or so hours travelling but staff tried to do their best with extra bedding etc."

"Beautiful hacienda with gorgeous grounds, huge room and great air conditioning. Beds were comfortable and large. We were served a free hot breakfast on the veranda which was lovely and unexpected. The surrounding location is fairly industrial so we were surprised when we saw the huge gate open and the oasis within."

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"

"To begin with my wife and I are both handicapped which they were advised off on reservation and they put us on the third floor with no elevators. No my wife said no so they put on the first floor in a non-handicapped room, which was next to an unoccupied handicapped room. Our tiny room had no handicap adaptations. Four feet from central desk and very noisy. Sheets were torn and no soap or shampoo in the shower. Go figure. When we arrived the restaurant was çlosed. The chef was sick. The...

"This is the perfect last minute stay before your flight the next morning. It's an older hotel, clean with all the basic amenities. It provided an airport shuttle to the airport which is what was most convenient because we returned our car rental the night before. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The price was right!"

"The staff was very kind and courteous. It is a family run business as are many smaller hotels in Costa Rica. We felt safe and secure. It was a very basic room , but it was clean and comfortable. Again, the staff was the best."

"Accidentally booked my flight too early and needed somewhere to stay. They picked me up from the airport (you have to message them) and dropped me off at the place. It’s not a boujie hotel but it’s perfect for a nights rest. The room was clean and there was AC. The mall, Walmart, and some food places are close by. "
