Beautiful stay at Sands. We enjoyed the location walkable to PDC beach and 5th avenue but far away enough for me. Lots of local fruterias and shops nearby. Very nice view from the rooftop pool.

The apartment was gorgeous and had a well-equipped kitchen. The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature, super comfy bed and strong wifi. The rooftop was a nice place to chill and the sunset view from there is unbelievable . Personally, we really liked the location; there are a lot of good restaurants nearby and a small convenience store just across the street, would definitely recommend.

Overall, our stay at the Sands Boutique was good. Marco the contact person was very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. We had a slight issue that he was quick to rectify, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and had the basic amenities to cook meals. I would suggest folk to bring facecloths as they are not provided. Perhaps an extra towel as well. The only negative I can say has to do with the area, not with the building or it's owners. It's in a working-class neighbourhood, which is fine. The people are friendly and they are just living their lives like we all are. They do, however, start their day very early, so the noise in the area usually begins around 5:30 AM. There are also numerous dogs roaming the streets and they sometimes bark throughout the night. It took a few days to get used to it but once we did we were able to tune it out and enjoy our time there. The general location is excellent. Just around the corner on CTM there are some excellent places to eat and convenience stores and 5th Ave is less than a 10 min walk away. All in all, it's a good place for the price and I would absolutely stay there again.

The room was reasonably clean. There was a very strong mildew odor coming from underneath the kitchen sink and I had a hard time keeping the room aired out enough to keep it from being overwhelming. There was a large dog somewhere that barked incessantly. The door to my unit had poor lighting and it was difficult to see the keyhole after sundown. The ceiling fan was imbalanced and creaked and wobbled if it was turned on. The pool areas were nice. The WiFi worked well both in my unit and on the roof. Parking was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and communication with management was good. Transportation was limited to either a taxi or, in my case, a motor scooter that I rented so I wasn’t limited too badly. There are small tiendas nearby, but a couple small bottles of water at arrival and a guide for guests would have been helpful, especially since the city water is not potable. Overall I feel the price was fair, but due to the rough feel of the neighborhood, the lack of transportation options and the noise levels I don’t think I’ll return.

This is by far one of the best condos we have stayed at. Interior design is crazy, very nice decoration and layout. Great location with parking available in front of the condo. AC, hot water and WiFi all worked great. We stayed until midnight chilling by the pool, they have the rooftop open 24 hours!

Very clean, well taken care of. New modern space with full kitchenette that was equipped with everything we needed. Communication was good and requests were responded to quickly. Location is conveniently located in walking distance to the epic 5th ave, Lots of restaurants and convenience stores and about a 15 min walk to the beach. It should be noted that this condo is in a neighborhood under development with condos but it is surrounded by lower class, rougher resident housing. However at no time did we feel unsafe.

Rooms are ok, but could use more TLC. Aircondischoning was not good, 4 nights without AC . One day no running water. Had to change rooms. The second room had 2 broken windows. Noisy area and lots of construction going on, so the roof top pool was not enjoyable. I requested a partial refund with no response. The only good thing is that they fix issues right away.

The night that I got there, all I wanted to do was jump in the pool after a day of travel, but the pool was closed with a yellow caution sign. I went up to my room, thinking I could watch TV or work on my iPad, but the Wi-Fi was not working. It was on a busy street with cars passing during the day and dogs barking at night. it said it was close to the beach, but it was a far walk for a solo female traveler. There weren’t really restaurants nearby to have breakfast or lunch. The day after I got there, bye walk the four flights of stairs, no elevator, up to the rooftop where there was supposed to be a pool, and a pool bar. There was a pool, but it was only maybe 6‘ x 8‘ wide and three or 4 feet deep. There was a bar but no bartender and no cocktails being served. There were only three lounge chairs near the pool and two of them were taken. Luckily I was a solo traveler. I asked the manager for at least my money back for the first night, but he did not respond.

Did not use pool or laundry . The only negative which was a major issue was the excessive noise from a dog barking in one of the rooms. This occurred late at night and made it impossible to for me to sleep well, for 3 of the nights during my stay. Otherwise I had no complaints, but would not stay again due to the possible issue of dogs barking late at night.

The location was perfect, we were surprised at how close it is to everything you would need. Very walkable to the grocery store, restaurants, beaches and 5th Avenue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to anyone.The studio was spotless, WiFi was great, hot water and great water pressure. Rooftop area was nice and very relaxing. One of my favorite condos in Playa. Not a bunch of rules and they never bug you so you can just relax and enjoy your stay. Staff was very pleasant for us.
