"Lovely bedroom, clean and comfortable, decent breakfast (continental mainly) and gorgeous setting. Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. If you are happy walking every day in any kind of weather this is for you. "

"The cleaning ladies were very nice and helpful, but the blankets were dirty. I showed one of the cleaning ladies my blanket and asked for a clean one. She said it was just old, folded it, stored it in the cabinet, and gave me another blanket. I left right afterwards and didn’t really look at it. When I returned, I saw that it was dirty with a very large stain on it. Having dirty blankets was a big problem. The walls are also very thin and you can hear everything going on in the hallways. "Nice hotel - very big room and almost everything you need in it except for an iron and ironing board. I was a bit disappointed to realise there was no cleaners during my stay to give fresh towels, empty the kitchenette bin, make/change the bed like a standard hotel etc. The poolside bar is only really open if you are having breakfast, otherwise there is nothing really there and you need to walk 15 minutes up the road to the supermarket. There are key cards for entry to the pool area however...
