"The Walnut Tree is the finest example of a superb family-run hotel and has the highest standards across all its services. I received a lovely welcome at check-in and was shown to my room (rather than being directed) and given a summary of services and mealtimes. I was there for 3 nights and had dinner on 2 of them. Credit to the team of chefs for beautiful food and a well thought menu. Parking is plentiful and felt secure and despite my room facing a busy road, it was quiet and comfortable and...

"The room was of a good standard. Where the place was was perfect for me. I never saw the owner, I had a text that I can let myself in and the key was at the bedroom door. Very efficient and communication excellent. Having no breakfast was no problem as you have all facilities in, at least, 2 mins walk away. I will be returning."
