"Being unfamiliar with the Pismo Beach area, I picked the wrong place for what I wanted to experience there. I was looking for easy beach access, this hotel was on a bluff, I had wanted to hear waves crashing and instead I heard the highway traffic. I didn't see any close places for breakfast in the morning and we we were told that the restaurant at Spyglass was closed. Therefore we didn't spend much time at our almost $500 room, we went downtown and ate, shopped, and walked the beach. That's where I will book a room next time."

"Just a heads up there will be zero sound proof in their regular rooms without the view. You will hear the noise from the highway, other guests’ voice next to and above your rooms. Poor quality inn that recently renovated but with not so sturdy materials. Bathroom smelled a little weird. There’s not really any amenities that comes with the stay other than having the ocean view close by. I booked the stay seeing the reviews from Expedia but it’s misleading.. I should’ve seen the Google review before proceeding. I would say the stay was definitely not worth $360. "

"Close walk to the beach if you are able to walk up and down a few flights of stairs. Loved it for my young family did have to pack up the car every time we went to the beach. Clean rooms with excellent hotel staff. Very knowledgeable staff. "
