We were in Tennessee around the second week of July 2026. The Wild Bear Inn was Awesome, rooms, pool and the grounds were very maintained. The restaurant and lounge were a wonderful plus. The girls Siearra and Brianna at the front desk were the Best! They were pleasant and friendly every time we saw them. Our breakfast was eaten at their restaurant every morning, the pancakes were great and I'm not a big pancake fan!! Be sure to try them! We had a small issue with opening our room door, the key worked but our door stuck. I went to the office and ask if we could be moved to another room that would open easier and there wasn't a problem with it at all even told us to take our time getting moved. They gave us another room on the ground floor and it was just perfect. By the way they are dog friendly and my Jasmine even like our stay. I highly recommend that you stay here while visiting Pigeon Forge!! ⭐ 😁

The bathroom floor looked dirty but the bed was comfortable and the shower was clean with good water pressure. I didn’t like that we had a room right in front of the pool and you could hear everything. Also, you either pulled the blackout curtains which felt like a cave or you opened them so everyone could look in as they walked by. We loved the warm pool that was crystal clear. Breakfast was a disappointment. We were so happy they offered it! Sadly the 3 dollar pancakes were overcooked and not good with margarine. The eggs were reconstituted. The icy orange juice was a full 16 ounces and the best! And the service was great! Because the pancakes and eggs were bad we opted never to return with 100s of better options all around. Corkys barbecue was a great dinner option! Check in was great and the lady so sweet, let us check in early! And we loved the location-on the edge of all the crazy where I prefer.

Walk in to lobby greeted by Briana. She was very curious and friendly. My room was ready as requested. She explained the policies in well I could understand. Room was presented in a at home condition. Air conditioner worked awesomely. The on site restaurant is a big plus. Free pancake breakfast was just what I needed. Staff was great in all except of service. Would stay there again if I'm ever back that way.

Staff were accommodating and switched our room when we realized we were stuck in a room with zero windows and not a nice location. They moved us next day and we were thankful. We had a very interesting room. I booked a poolside room. Can't really say it was poolside. It was a corner room. No windows and the pool was about 15 feet away. Reminded me of an interior cabin on a cruise ship. Not good. The light in the bathroom was nice as long as you weren't taking a shower. The minute you pulled the shower curtain closed, the shower was totally dark! Wonders never cease. There was no place to hang anything up so fold and put in a drawer. The AC ran continuously. I froze. The pool area had furniture that was not something you wanted to sit on. Log cabin style. so hard you didn't sit long. The only saving grace was the food in the restaurant. German beer was good. German food was good.
