Our family of six (4 adults and 3 children ages 8 and under) stayed at the Park Tower Inn the weekend after Christmas Day. Overall, the facility was ok and we were comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. There were a few things however, that could stand improvement. The front lobby was clean, but there was no sitting area for guest whom may have needed to wait. There also was no coffee/tea/water area for guest in the front lobby. The rooms were ok, not clean clean, but ok. We had a suite and could not sit on the couch, due to dirt (food, wrappers, etc) on the couch. We ended up asking for a sheet or comforter to cover the couch so we could sit on it. The kitchenette sink was not clean, nor was the small dining table. It was sticky with some sort of drink that had spilled. I took disinfectant wipes and cleaned the table and the sink. The toaster oven was not clean (leftover food and crumbs), but the refrigerator was clean. We chose not to use any of the utensils. The bathroom was decent as well as the shower. The beds were comfortable. Overall, our stay was ok, no real complaints per se, but the whole building needs a serious upgrade. It was old and smelled old. The pool and lazy river were passable, but the area around the pool had standing water that was not draining. The location itself was great as it was walkable to most attractions. We spent most of our stay at the Island and several restaurants that were nearby.
