This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend if you love breathtaking vistas, history, and wonderful service and exceptional hospitality. Went out of their way to be accommodating and thoroughly enjoyed the geothermal heated pool overlooking the valley. Spa services available onsite as well. Jacuzzi, massage and IR sauna. I came upon this out of last minute necessity and plan return trip there on my next visit.

A beautiful location

A beautiful hotel, located centrally within Piancastagnaio. The hotel is very relaxing and tastefully converted convent with a stunning pool overlooking the valley. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and we loved our spacious room overlooking the gardens. Service is okay, it cannot be criticised, but lacked warmth at every level. Ignored by many staff and we would have expected a little more. Once again food was good (we ate dinner and had breakfast each morning) but not spectacular and we opted to eat across the road on one night where staff really tried to engage with us which we appreciated.

Es ist ein altes umgebautes und modernisietes Kloster hinter einer unscheinbaren Mauer und Holztür. Man wird direkt von der Rezeption in Empfang genommen und erhält eine erste kleine Rundführung. Die Zimmer selbst sind groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ist sehr modern. Dem Service hätten wir gerne 6 Sterne gegeben, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen und Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Hotelanlage mit Pool und Whirlpool ist sehr schön eingetichtet und lädt zum verweilen ein. Der Ausblick auf die Toskana ist super. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und kommen bestimmt wieder.
