The location is very convenient, beach 5 min walk. Restaurants well in walking distance. Staff all very helpful and housekeeping is on the job Kudos ! However the rooms are dated, need a renovation minimum the bathroom shower hardwear and new curtains. Plan to stay here again and look forward to it.

The hotel is showing it's age a bit, but the rooms a spacious, clean and the pool is huge and deep. Location close to the beach is good, however main issue it is also close to two clubs that have live music until 2am each night.

For the price, this is a good property - spacious, central, great staff. HOWEVER, the centre of Karon is not what it used to be. It's dirty, loud (and the property has to hear the Karaoke until 2am), and at night doesn't always feel welcoming. I'd avoid Karon if you can, although the beach is lovely. We stayed 2 nights out of a 7 night planned stay and then moved on.

Staff are friendly. The suite is very big and spacious. View is amazing from the suite. Condition of the hotel is not new but I would recomment it for the price.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, and went out of their way to be make it a pleasurable stay with no fuss and positivity. Located very centrally to the markets, bars and restaurants, and across the road from the beach it’s an ideal position, especially when travelling with young children The appartments are however starting to show their age. Air conditioning hardly worked and was not functioning at all in one of the two bedrooms, which meant the four of us ended up sleeping in the same room - ie: one parent with one child in a single bed. So not exactly ideal. We did however understand that this may have eventuated from the previous reviews provided so did not complain. After all you get what you pay for sad for the size of the space, it was still excellent value for money.

Okay, but not a destination in itself

There were a lot of reasons I selected Waterfront Suites. Some worked out and some didn't. First, I didn't think Karon was as nice as Patong. The beach is covered with ratty umbrellas to rent, so the view is hideous. It ended up far from some activities, so plan activities and pick up based on what's on which end of Phuket because traffic is bad. It's not actually waterfront. It's alley-front behind a laundromat. You will not be heading barefoot from your room to the beach. The pool is tiny in a parking lot and had a strangely strict towel allowance. We couldn't use the kitchen. The drawers storing the dishes were moldy and smelled. It was nice to have a full-size fridge that wasn't stuffed with mini-bar items. So, if Karon beach, being waterfront, the pool, or the kitchen are why you are thinking about booking, don't. However, there was a lot that was really good including the view and the space. The garden view had a view of the Buddha with three balconies. The room was HUGE with two bathrooms. Even the shoe shelf made me happy. It was great for families for that reason. I think if I had an activity that led me to be in Karon, such as wanting to do the night market or be toward the scuba or jet ski activities, I might book again. It was a good size for the price. But, I wouldn't book it considering the suites as a place to spend my vacation.

The staff was AMAZING; I want to give them a shout-out. However, The pool was not clean and dirty. It had a broken bar that wasn't operational. Couldn't access amenities to other parts of the resort. (Website said you could). The view was excellent, and the room was acceptable.

Good apartment, walking distance to the beach, dinning, and activities. However glass doors rattled in windy days. Cooktop is very old and the hot warm off on mark no longer visible, guess had to guess the level of heat when cooking. We called the staff ang they could not help to identify heat level mark of the cooktop. As an apartment facility, it should have a coin oprerated laundry room and wine bottle cork opener for guests.

Nära stranden, trevlig personal, stor lägenhet, breda sängar som tyvärr var hårda. Lägenheterna är markerade med våningsplan + bokstav. Vi bodde på 20 våningen lägenhet A, med havsutsikt (dvs väst/nordlig riktning) och blev mkt störd av all musik från bargatan som slutade tidigast runt 02.00 varje natt. Tror lägenheterna C och D är tystare.

Crappy hotel

This hotel was probably a 2 start at best. The hotel was clean and that's about the only positive part of the hotel. The service was adequate to check you in to the room. We paid over $100 a night for a two bedroom suite. The sheets were stained and the hotel is next to a bar. The band played until the early hours of the morning. We couldn't sleep at all. We ended up booking two rooms at Chanalai Garden Resort for $130 and it's gorgeous. It has impeccable service, beautiful pool, swim up bar and great view of Kata beach. I would not recommend the Waterfront Suites Phuket unless you are desperate and can't find any other place to stay.

場所は最高なのですが。。。

場所は最高です。ビーチも買い物もとても便利で、大きなプールも非常によいです。 ただ、2ベッドルームに3泊したのですが、3泊だけにしてよかったと思いました。各部屋とリビングルームに２つエアコンがあるのですが、全部つけると停電します。これで1日に2回は受付に電話しました。スイッチを戻るだけで基本何もしてくれません。エアコンは非常に古いもので音がうるさく眠れませんでした。 そして8センチくらいあるどでかいゴキブリが。。。！これで一気にホテルへの印象が悪くなりました。 受付は愛想ないだけでなく英語がほとんどわかりません。なのでとても疲れます。姉妹リゾートはよくある普通の家族向けリゾートで、行ってプールを楽しむほどではないかと。。。 リビングルームもベッドルームも広々としていてゴキブリが出ず、停電しなければ大満足のホテルでしたが、この2点ですっかり悪い印象になってしまいました。
