Die Anlege ist in die Jahre gekommen und ist renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück war sehr mager und bei Abendessen viele Gerichte waren nicht vorhanden. Im Meer konnte wir auch nicht schwimen, wril daf wassrr sehr schmutzig war. Außerdem ist die Anlage sehr ausgeschieden, und in der Umgebung ist nichts.

The location and ambience of this property are wonderful! It is the quietest place we have ever visited in Phuket - away from shopping, nightlife, and busy piers. We really enjoyed the solitude.

Wer Phuket weg vom Massentourismus geniessen will, ist im Chandara genau richtig. Das Resort ist landschaftlich -traumhaft gelegen. Das Personal immer freundlich und sehr bemüht. Wir haben uns 2 Motorbikes für die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes gemietet, so waren wir immer mobil & konnten auch die verstecktesten Winkel & Wege entdecken.Das Resort bietet einen Transfer for free nach Phuket-Stadt an.Die Villen sind sehr geräumig und durch die tolle Gartenanlage kaum einsehbar.Leider ist die Anlage ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Es sind einige Sanierungsarbeiten fällt.(Dächer ,Sanitär e.c.) Im Restaurant Eclipse haben wir sehr gut am Abend gegessen.Das Frühstück war nicht so abwechslungsreich. Alles in Allem fühlten wir uns sehr wohl & würden gern wieder kommen.

Close to Ao Po

Nice rooms quite a remote location but close to AO Po marina. Air Con very noisy and had a cockroach as visitor one day but big rooms. A little tired but convenient didn’t use restaurant based on previous experiences

Very nice hotel with great private rooms

Stayed by chance after we missed last boat to Koh Yao Yi, however it was a great place for 1 night. The villas were very large and spacious with an incredible private jacuzzi and double bathroom. had a 12 hour sleep on the lovely bed. Staff were friendly and respectful and I would recommend to all others who want to spend 1 night before taking the boat to the islands.

We really loved this place! Great views, amazing pool and a wonderful staff. The food at the restaurant was delicious, we ate there for almost every meal. The property is a little dated, it could use a fresh coat of paint and some refreshing of the decor but overall it was an amazing stay!

Great location

The hotel has stunning views and a nice infinity pool. Access to the beach is great and is close to the Grand Marina if you are chartering a yacht. The hotel was pretty much void of guests due to the low season and as such, small things were left undone, such as removing dead cockroaches from our room and a giant spider from the toilet. When we asked to use the bicycles the hotel offers, they had no air in the tyres and the attendant seemed reluctant to fill them until we insisted. Bikes were also of poor quality. Restaurant did not serve everything on the menu due to the lack of guests too. Overall, it was fine for one night, but I am unlikely to return.

Place needs a makeover

None of the staff spoke any English so it was challenging to communicate. Our room was leaking from the rain and they gave me some dirty towels to wipe it up. There was 1 bath towel in the room on arrival for 2 people. No hand or wash clothes. This took several calls to resolve. The restaurant had no white or red wine but again couldn’t communicate this. I was finally offered a bottle of sparkling but had to buy the whole bottle. There was no bar or minibar. We did not see one other guest in 24 hours. The whole place is run down and dated. Would not recommend.

Peace and quiet

We stayed in villa 111 for 6 nights, found it very peaceful and comfortable. Pool villa had great views was generally clean, although maintenance was just average. The only issue we had that really does need improving is the breakfast, we could not eat it as was very poor and budget food just catering for the Chinese guests. Enjoyed the stay but would not return

CLOSE TO AO PO MARINER

Stayed there prior to getting on our charter yacht from nearby mariner. Pleasantly surprised re size of our unit, and our private pool. Good 4 poster bed.

Disgusting resort

We chose to stay in this resort for 1 night due to it's proximity to the Ao Po Grand Marina, affordability and relatively good star rating on Expedia, google reviews, and yelp. Our experience was TERRIBLE. We arrived to be told that we were "upgraded" to a suite with a pool. On first glance we were excited until we started looking around. The resort was basically deserted. The staff spoke next to no english. The 2 tvs in our room were broken. The ceiling in the bathroom was collapsing from water damage. The faucet literally fell off the sink when touched. We chose to suck it up and spray ourselves down with bug spray before we went to bed because we arrived too late to find a new hotel only to wake up at 2 in the morning with food poisoning from the food we ate from their restaurant the night before. My husband got rushed to the hospital for a bacterial infection caused by the food poisoning and both of us needed antibiotics. This hotel looked like it could have been nice 10 years ago but was probably hit by a tsunami and never fixed up. Do not stay here - not worth the money AT ALL.

Relaxing and quite paradise

Chandara is a place to go to meditate and enjoy nature. The Rooms are large and set in a Tropical forest setting with the sounds of wildlife all around. Also located nearby in the Ao Po Marina which is a nice place to visit and enjoy the dockside bar.

A very good surprise in an unexpected place

Very good location by the sea but not in a conventional way the hotel is built on a kind of small cape so the view is great from many places The hotel has large rooms but above all the staff is extremely nice and helpful

Unhurried and relaxed retreat

The resort consists of discrete villas spread about the central amenities complex and pool overlooking the ocean. The place is really quiet and relaxed - plenty to do around Phuket or do nothing at all.... Really friendly and competent staff, great restaurant, clean and well presented accommodation with WiFi (if you forget you are on holidays).

Quiet, romantic getaway

The 4-poster bed with mosquito netting... huge bathtub... private walled patio... private pool with jacuzzi jets... outdoor shower... all-in-all a very quiet and romantic setting perfect for our Valentine's Day Weekend!

El hotel es muy bonito pero le falta mantenimiento no estuvimos mucho tiempo ya que lo usamos como transición a la Ao Po grand Marina para tomar un barco allí pienso que si mejora el mantenimiento puede ser un hotel recomendable
