"Great hotel and the usual Thai warm welcome. The staff were always so friendly and helpful. Rooms and food was great. Kids pool was thoughtfully designed to have lots of shade from the trees. The gym was probably the best hotel gym I've used. Only slight negative - we really wanted to eat at the Thai restaurant on site but it was always fully booked. The main pool also got very busy with all sunbeds in use. The free shuttle into Mai Khao village centre was useful, but there isn't a lot to see there - a few shops and restaurants. If you do go there, please don't feed the elephants who are tethered to the ground whilst tourists pay to feed them bamboo. In 2026 it's shocking that this is still allowed ;("

"c'est simple cet hôtel est un des meilleurs hôtels que j'ai pu faire dans ma vie. Le personnel est agréable aux petits soins pour n'importe quoi Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir être dans une des villas avec piscine privée. Un véritable bonheur, propre/calme Chaque jour était meilleur que le précédent. Si je peux je reviens dans cet hôtel l'année prochaine"

"The hotel very good location beautiful front of the beach. The hotel room very clean and modern they are clean the rooms every day and they are gives a water unlimited every day. The staff are so friendly polite and very helpful for everything you want.Also the fitness are 24 hours they are have enough of equipment for gym areas.They are amazing breakfast every staffs at the restaurant are so helpful and polite friendly excellent service. Exceptional hotel."

"After a disastrous 25-hour flight delay, arriving at Anantara Mai Khao was the perfect remedy for our family of four. The moment we arrived, Oxii and the staff treated us with warm, authentic Thai hospitality—exactly the welcome we needed. The resort is stunning and expansive, yet getting around is effortless with the convenient buggies. The picturesque landscaping and architecture make every view Instagram-worthy - it’s easy to see why it features in The White Lotus season three. There is a wealth of activities available, from pools, tennis, teen club, yoga, and kickboxing to a gym and spa treatments. We also loved our ATV and James Bond Island excursions. Located in a quiet area near the airport, it’s about 45 minutes from the busy Old Town—perfect for families seeking pure serenity. Just across the road, Turtle Village offers local shops, a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, and Burger King for familiar comforts. Dining is exceptional. Breakfast features high-quality, healthy, locally sourced options. For dinner, Sea Fire Salt serves incredible BBQ fish and steak with a beautiful sunset view. I highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting deep relaxation, excellent food, and beautiful beaches. Anantara Mai Khao is the nearest thing to perfect!"
