"I was under the impression that the resort had a beach, but they weren't any beach. I had a hard time making reservation for the hibachi dinner using the app. It kept saying reservation not available which was frustrating. I had to head down to the check-in desk for them the get a supervisor to assist with adding us to the reservation list which was another long wait."

Gali, Ramses and Adriana were always present to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were great to talk with and excellent resource to good food spots. I will definitely come back here."

"Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! "We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"Very nice room and environment. The beds were very hard, but we loved everything else about the room. Breakfast was good and we could order it in advance so they could prepare it and we didnt have to wait. Very good service overall!"
