"We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived when David came out to the parking area and helped as to our room with our belongings. Property is beautiful inside with wonderful attention to detail. Room was spotless, comfortable and roomy as was the bathroom. Breakfast cooked by David was tasty and fresh with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Would highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful in every way. "

"I arrived a bit early. Nobody wS there, save a sign and two phone numbers to call. I reached someone, and was asked to wait a few minutes. A bit later, i checked in. Bags were carried for me. and i was shown how the electric worked. A nice touch was the cooked to order complimentary breakfast the next morning. Save for those first few minutes, my stay was fine."

"The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details. "Clean room. Included breakfast, which had many options. Polite staff. Easy walk to shops or restaurants down the road. Free parking. Convenient to main highway. "

"Shared canteen area is messy and not the cleanest. Shared bathroom upstairs has a shower which doesn't work. Television didn't work in my room (possibly the remote) - but it was very late and I couldn't be bothered chasing this up. I was awoken by very loud noises of arguing and fighting around 2.45am. I thought something serious was happening - but then realised the person in the next room had their television om at an unbearably loud volume. I obviously didn't want to knock their door and ask...
