"Bedroom was excellent, where the hotel falls down was the lounge area which lacked atmosphere and although you could purchase drinks, there was no bar…. and you were unable to see the staff pour. Tables and chairs very tightly packed together and not the most relaxing. Breakfast had a great choice of food but again tables very close together not much room to move between them. Staff were very friendly and pleasant."

"The room was clean. Breakfast was reasonable, lots of choice, but nothing special. Spa treatment was amazing. Pool too cold, steam room didn't seem to be working efficiently. Hot tub didn't seem very powerful and wasn't monitored for people not getting out when it was off. Major disappointment was I'd taken a voucher to use to go towards my stay, the receptionist didn't enter the code when we checked in, she said she'd do it later. When we went to check out she told us the voucher wouldn't work and we owed the full amount. I was highly surprised that we weren't informed as soon as she found the voucher wasn't working to give us notice, I also felt the receptionist wasn't very sorry about the inconvenience caused. I feel this wasn't great service and wouldn't stay again for this reason and the other facts stated above unless the price was significantly less, as it stands the facilities weren't actually value for money.
