"Trying to even find a place at the office to check in was nearly impossible without walking a staircase. Balcony and stairway in desperate need of upgrading. When entering the entrance carpet looked like there was mud and whatever else was on it. The entrance door was dirty. Do bad we left and got a room down the road for the same price. Was told I would not get my money back but it was worth it just to get out of there"

"This is a nice place for a gettaway and if you have kids even better. The beach is very nice. Not crowed and the water is sublime. You can wade out 100 feet or more and the water is at your waste or lower. The Kayaks and Canoes are nice to have. I went out most days in a Kayak. The staff are mainly young students but they are very nice and attentive. The pool is ok nothing special but great for kids. For seniors or those with mobility issues you might want to think twice about this...

"We stayed in the big cottage with a view of the water. It was clean and tidy and the location was amazing. The air conditioning was very welcome, and the kitchen was useful. Beds/chairs/sofa were comfortable. The cottage is a little rickety, with a sloping floor. But it was a fun, nostalgic vibe. A bit pricey for what it was, in my opinion. Swimming off the shore/dock was very pleasant."
