"The hotel is in a good position with Lidl and a Pub closeby, which was good for dinner. The room is quite large with a good view. The breakfast food was nice but the slow service and lack of process to take orders defintely the needs improvement. Otherwise we enjoyed our 1 night stay."

"The hospitality of all staff that we met was very good and we would give libby an excellent review for her whole attitude.The price was good,the breakfast was better than a lot of five star hotels we have stayed in and served with a smile."

"Staff were very nice and helpful. Coffees and teas available all day which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was really good, (compliments to the chef) and the hotel entrance is decorated nicely. However the room was dated and disappointing. Cleaniness is not a priority unfortunately. The towels were stained, the bathroom door would not close, bathroom curtain was stained, hairs in the bathroom and on one of the towels, bathroom sink had a crack in it and one of the taps was broken, cobwebs and dust...

"Fab house very comfortable and superb location right on the beach opposite St Michael's Mount. Only negative (unless you are a trainspotter) is the adjacent railway line but trains are no more frequent than about one every 10 minutes and don't run through the night. Already planning a return visit."

"Great position for the Scillonian the next morning
Very limited evening food menu. I had fish and chips but the mushy peas were so hot I burnt the roof of my mouth

"Many thanks to Fiona for being such a kind and welcoming and friendly host. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable and the whole house beautifully decorated and with a calm feel. Breakfast was excellent served in the dining room. Easy parking in a free car park just a few minutes walk away. We had a lovely time, thank you."

"This is a gem.
We are high end travellers and this is probably the best service we have ever experienced. The staff were very attentive and obviously take great pride in their work and the property. The food quality was excellent and consequently we ate there most nights."

"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "
