"My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. "Schöne Anlage im balinesischen Stil, direkt am Meer gelegen. Die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten war unübertrefflich. Am meisten mochte ich, dass es ein "day bed" auf der Terrasse und eines im Zimmer gab, so konnte man beim Ein dunkeln den Moskitos entkommen und trotzdem gemütlich entspannen. Das Restaurant - direkt am Strand gelegen - servierte einheimische und internationale Küche, die vorzüglich war. "Loved the upper room with the semi open air shower. Hotel is quiet. Really nice space to relax in nature. My room was nice and simply laid out. Double bed with mosquito nets draped. Bedside tables, fridge, kettle, cups, etc. Patio door windows to the front of the room with table and chairs out on the balcony."

"Es ist ein wirklich sehr abgelegenes Hotel, was ja an sich schön ist aber man muss schon während den einzelnen Restaurants recht weit laufen. Außerdem ist hier die Erklärung nicht gut. Ich hatte es so verstanden, dass es unterschiedliche Speisekarten gibt, obwohl in beiden Restaurants die selbe Karte ist. Für die weiten Wege gibt es zwar einen Shuttle, an einem Tag hat er super geklappt, an den anderen beiden eher nicht so. Teilweise sehr lange Wartezeiten und das Zimmer war nicht so sauber....

"The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality."

"Mooi ontvangst met onze namen op de grond gelegd met steentjes bij aankomst, ook op het bed en bij de ontbijttafel. Jammer dat de koelkast niet aan stond bij aankomst??? Een warm ontvangst? Volgens de omschrijving ligt het hotel aan het strand, dat is absoluut niet waar, het is ongeveer 1,5km van het strand en van de schildpadden opvang."
