"This place is very remote and distant from shopping and restaurants. You need to grab a taxi or such to take you into town and that’s around 15-20 min drive due to congestion. We walked and that took 49 mins but not ideal shopping. To go to the shops you need to walk 95 steps, exhausting from those challenged with fitness lol. The house restaurant was very basic. The kitchen is outside, which isn’t ideal when needing a drink during the night. Our stay was restful though."

"If you are reading this review, search no further. I cannot recommend this place enough. Our stay here was an oasis. The property was clean and sufficiently stocked with the amenities one would need to feel at home. The pool was divine and private. "From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and welcome. We booked tanah gajah for our honeymoon and wish we had stayed for longer than 4 nights! The hotel has so much to offer - a tethered hot air balloon (worth every penny), professional photographer, rice field paddy tour and kedac dance nights. The staff were all brilliant and we slept amazingly well. We would definitely recommend the resort to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Ubud."
