"There was a musty smell in the room. There was a big stain on the carpet. The beds were small. The beds made squeaky noises. The hallway in the lower level had an odor. The front desk staff seemed rushed. The tub and toilet were stained."
"Night time front desk was not friendly at all, almost acted bothered we were checking in. It was okay for one night, wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible either for the price. Pool wasn’t open either."
"Rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and it was quiet. It is clear that the building is a little older than I expected, but was well-maintained. I enjoyed my stay."
"The location is beautiful. I believe every room is the same layout. They’re small suites but very adequate for two people. Each room has a balcony. Our room (202) was very clean. It’s an older resort that is definitely showing its age. Our bathroom had metal trim around the door and the bottom of one side was rusting badly. When we stepped into the elevator, the rug on the floor was filthy and several edges were chewed up and missing. I was shocked to see such neglect. The windows in our room were large and afforded a wonderful view of the ocean but had not been cleaned well. There was a small kitchenette with a small fridge, a small cooktop, a microwave and a drip-type coffeemaker. I love good strong coffee in the morning so I made sure to bring my own coffee grounds and creamer. The resort gives you two coffee filters, one small package of coffee and two packages of powdered creamer and sugar. I was very glad I brought my own coffee fixings from home. The restaurant there was adequate. They had several tables with umbrellas outside which was nice. We had breakfast and the omelet, bacon and French toast were fine. Nothing outstanding but tasty. The coffee was lukewarm so we requested some that was hot and they put a fresh pot on. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. The price was less than many other places to stay in the area. My husband would like to stay there again. I’m hoping we can try another resort that is not quite so run down."
