"Lovely restaurant staff Gross experience ,roll away bed smelled so bad"

"Positves: 1. DAYTIME front desk staff was professional. 2. The historical ambience was amazing. 3. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced with friendly wait staff Negatives: 1. Suites are $250/per night but in very poor condition. My room smelled of BO. 2. The door to the AC unit on the ceiling was open and leaking (obviously no ac was working) 3. Maintenance staff is unprofessional and rude to say the least. They tried to blame me for the broken AC (keep in mind im 5'3 and even the maintenance man had to use a ladder to access the unit.) 4. Granted we were upgraded to a penthouse sweet (clock it fingers) However, the TVs were broken 5. The following day after eating our wonderful breakfast, we go back to our room to pack and our door was slightly ajar to which prompted me to now have check the enire place to make sure nothing was stolen I wish I could say my easter weekend was wonderful but honestly 😪 it was HOT HECTIC and ANNOYING.... I wish i could get my money back..."

"The bed in our room was well used and is almost at the end of its life. Otherwise our stay was comfortable."

"The hotel felt safe and the staff were lovely. The hotel does show it's age in some areas. You could tell the rooms had been repainted although there were paint splotched dried all around the room on the floor. Baseboard in the bathroom was broken and the missing spaces were a collection spot for dirt and debris. Besides the showing age, the rooms and hotels were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, patio, and sitting areas in the lobby. It was a nice place to relax with the other people traveling with us. "

"Stayed in Houston to visit some family. Clean and spacious room. It’s an odd location, however, and appears to just be close to hospitals (my fault as I didn’t really look into this). Not a great spot if you want to do any sightseeing or something touristy so would keep that in mind. Was a bit blindsided by the $50/night valet charge—no real other options for parking so would add that to your daily rate. "
