"Hotel is Right next to the freeway. Driving up was a simple inn. Plenty of parking. A bit sketchy. Our room was on the other side of the freeway facing the back of a business. Woke up to find that the shower handle was broken. So no shower for us. When we brought it up to management they didn’t try to make it better or even offered an apology. $148, not worth it without a working shower. Grab and go breakfast bread and coffee. We will not be coming back!"

"They need to repair chips in walls and broken items, but the park staff is friendly and it is a fun place to be with your kids. It would be great if they had more pop badge and mini fig traders."

"This is a great place to stay for the price and beautiful ocean patio view! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. You are within walking distance to the village and across the street from the beach. There is a rec room also that is pretty fun if you have kids or teens. It seemed to always be in use. Pool is a little tired, but fantastic, if you don’t feel like being at the beach. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere with such a smiley staff!"

"Utterly disgusted by the front desk here. They will Straight up lie to your faces. The air conditioning shuts off in the middle of the night because it's on a sensor, leaving you randomly hot and sweaty, it's also INCREDIBLY loud. Do not recommend."

"Property was clean and somewhat maintained for the ratings. Check-in staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and messed up one of our reservations. They handed us the Property brochure and did not explain any of the amenities."

"Room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious with a couch and ottomans available for seating. We didn't hear a lot of noise from the hallway or outside. Bathroom is a bit dated. Large breakfast bar and in-room complimentary snacks. Overall a nice base camp for Escondido activities."

"Main frustration was that one of the two elevators was out of order the 5 days I was there with no one ever working on it. Only having one working elevator made it very difficult for the guests and staff. The staff were very courteous and apologetic but always having to share the elevator with carts of cleaning products and dirty laundry was not very appealing."
