Amazing suite with wonderful management

This was such a great stay- really comfortable, well equipped full apartment. Lovely decor and furnishings and lots of character. The property manager is on site and very helpful and responsive. The hotel is overlooking the river with a beautiful view and paved pathway leading from it to the river. Walkable and accessible to downtown.

This is an absolutely charming and super comfortable property. The place has delightful art nouveau decor but the retro charm is combined with fast wifi, easily accessible plugs and lights everywhere, comfortable beds with a lot of excellent pillows and crisp sheets, great water pressure, and a really well equipped kitchen full of snacks and everything you need to feel right at home. Those leather couches and chairs in the living room are so cushy. Carole is a thoughtful and extremely welcoming host. After a long grueling winter drive, being met with a fire and a humidifier running was absolutely perfect. The list of all the nearby stores and restaurants with their opening hours was a really helpful touch. An early walk along the river the next morning communing with ravens and enjoying the ice lilypads was a lovely mind-clearing start to the day. I would stay here again anytime!

This was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was well stocked from towels to kitchen utensils. The hotel is in a great location, close to the river and downtown. I've said it before and I'll say it again - this is one of the loveliest places that I've stayed in. It is clean, comfortable and cared for. The history of the building itself is quite interesting and displayed throughout. And Carole, the building caretaker/hostess, is a gem! She goes out of her way to make sure that you are comfortable and cared for. Plus there's easily available info on local businesses for shopping and dining experiences.
