The location is good with a wine and beer restaurant next door and a number of local tourists shops along the street. It is also located very close to the bus departure for the boat jungle cruises. "Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "
