"We had an outstanding stay at this beautiful resort. The staff members are helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and tastefully decorated. There are many activities at the resort, including an adventure course with zip line, yoga, painting, cooking class, dance performance, games room. "Very nice village, with nice bungalow style rooms, and helpful and attentive staff. But the food is horrible. There was a dinner buffet with dozen types of food but not single one of them was tasty. We came after we visited CGH kochi that was amazing and had a lot of expectations so we were a bit disappointed. "

"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. "

"Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "

"The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. "
