"Wonderful time"

"The retro look of the hotel was really fun! The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly."

"Very friendly and great breakfast with this incredible soup! Very pleased with the stay here!! So close to mesa verde national park!"

"Our room was pretty beat up. The floor squeaked and the carpet felt gross. The bathroom wasn't any better as there were were tiles broken or missing especially next to the shower. The room seals around the door didn't work so daylight was coming through when we wanted to sleep in. Breakfast was okay, but I don't think that we would ever stay here again."

"The room was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful . The included breakfast was very delicious and adequate. Parking was easy and accessible. The location is super convenient. I strongly recommend this place to any traveler."

"The internet in our room was very poor and worked intermittently. The breakfast did not have any hot items, even the waffle maker was turned off. The breakfast eating area was cold and we had to leave our coats buttoned up."

"The roo.s need an update"

"It was inexpensive, which is what we were going for. Beds were comfortable. Had the typical hotel breakfast. Rooms were not very clean. Rooms show signs of neglect. Hallways hadn’t been cleaned."

"The woman at the front desk was super nice! She helped me with some documents I needed printed, and checked to see how we liked our room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and the black out blinds worked great. I would stay again the next time we go through Cortez."

"The property was obviously older and in need of some upgrade work However, the mgt and/or staff "seemed" to be trying hard to improve things. Also he drove down from an offsite location to do a late check-in for us. All the amenities were functional, the main thing I observed was subpar cleanliness of some items (towels, bedding, etc.). I'm guessing either they are having trouble obtaining sufficient staff, or perhaps the manager is trying to do the work alone. So couldn't call it my "first...

"The house served our purpose well. They beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The back porch and grounds could use a little TLC but that didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves. It was very close to all the attractions near Cortez."
