We loved this hotel, is pretty much perfect. The building is amazing, grounds are gorgeous, rooms are stunning and the team were just lovely. You will not regret staying here. Kids will love the animals that are all around, some wandering the grounds. Take advantage of the free bikes and have a ride around the grounds and down the off road tracks if you need to blow some cobwebs away. You can spend the evening enjoying the view and sipping very good wine on the lovely terrace. Then off to your very big and comfy bed in a well equipped, gorgeous and quiet room. If you need anything at all, Matthias and the team will sort for you. We didn’t want to leave and want to go back again next year and do a longer stay.

Cadre très agréable

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Le cadre ainsi que la décoration sont très sympa. L'accueil est parfait. Cependant, on gagnerait en intimité dans la chambre s'il y avait des voilages aux portes-fenêtres... car soit on laisse ouvert et on est vus de tous les clients qui passent juste devant les portes pour regagner leurs chambres à côté, soit on ferme les rideaux occultant et on ne profite pas de la lumière extérieure. Il manque également un sèche-cheveux dans la salle de bain, c'est la première fois que nous allons dans un hôtel 4 étoiles qui n'en a pas. Le wifi est un peu capricieux, mais il suffit de changer de réseau (il y en a deux sur l'hôtel) et ça fonctionne.

A fantastic find!

We were travelling to France We needed to stop for the evening, the picture on the website look nice and we chose to stay. What a fantastic choice The Chateau has been beautifully restored and sits in the most splendid grounds. Our room was in the main building and was extremely comfortable and lovely and the food both in the evening and breakfast was superb. The owners take on a very hands-on approach and are very good hosts. We had a dog with us and she was made very welcome, there is a menagerie at the Château already! It’s very clear that the owners have a strong ethos for sustainability and they have eco-lodges in the grounds and for the first one I have ever seen, an eco-golf course! Overall even though we had a short stay we are keen to come back with the family To spendmore time in this beautiful place.

SURPRENANT

Surprenant dans les deux sens. Nous avons pris une chambre familiale pour nous et nos deux ados pour trois nuits. -les moins: chambre dans les dépendances (non précisé), douche en sous-pente trop petite (nous faisons tous au moins 1m78, une catastrophe dans cette mini-douche), manque de prises dans la chambre (de nos jours, nous avons tous des objets à recharger), pas de WI-FI (était un point obligatoire pour nous et était "vendu" dans leur description), table de ping-pong non utilisable, difficultés à fermer la porte de la chambre à clé, petit-déjeuner simple hors de prix (15€/pers), 50cl d'eau pour 4 pers/nuit, cabane du "Hobbit" au bord de l'étang en état de délabrement, prix un peu élevé pour la notion de qualité/prix. -les plus: magnifique demeure, bon accueil, de nombreux animaux pour notre plaisir, chambre très spacieuse, bonne literie, un calme absolu, parking à proximité des chambres. Dans l'ensemble, un séjour positif sans pour autant le crier sur les toits. Les petits problèmes sont-ils dus à un manque de chance? En tout cas, si nous avions besoin, nous reviendrons pour le voir.

Enjoyed our stay at the castle! we got the large 4 bed room. It was a great spot and had great amenities. I recommend doing dinner there, it was very good and unique. Definitely a french experience. The only things i struggled with was: i found quite a bit of mosquitoes in our room. I think they came from the shower. It was also extremely quiet, which was great but if you're not used to it, it does seem a little creepy, but don't worry, its safe! Overall i loved the environment, the grounds and the customer service. They were very kind and willing to do everything they could to make sure we understood everything. It was definitely a fun experience that i will always remember and cherish!

La chambre comportait une douche comme nous l'avions demandé, mais cette douche était très glissante. Enfin, pour une chambre sans climatisation et au RDC, il aurait était utile d'avoir des volets afin de pouvoir aérer pendant la nuit.

아름다운 고성 호텔

딸아이와 1박 이였습니다. 몽생미셸 야경을 보고 밤 10시 30분쯤 도착했었어요. 성이 꽤 컸습니다. 내부는 현대식 시설로 잘 갖춰져 있었구요. 스태프가 정말 친절했습니다. 딸아이가 입이 짧아서, 햇반을 데우기 위해서 전자렌지를 사용할 수 있냐고 물었는데, 친절하게 사용할 수 있도록 해주었습니다. 샤워실 배수구 막힌 문제도 신속하게 해결해주었구요. 외진곳이긴 하지만, 렌트하시면 구글맵이 친절하게 안내해줍니다. 쉽게 찾을 수 있어요. 특히, 딸아이의 만족도가 엄청나게 컸습니다. 달이 너무 밝아서 쏟아질듯한 밤하늘 별을 보지 못한게 아쉽네요. 강력히 추천합니다.

Wonderful dog friendly chateau hotel

Can't recommend enough. Beautiful hotel and grounds, wonderful food. We were made so welcome by the charming owners. Our dog was thoroughly spoilt and enjoyed the wonderful freedom. A unique place.

Unique chance to stay in a castle...

Awesome staying in a Chateau...Great value for the money! Not a ton around without quite a bit of driving but the grounds are lovely with a pond w/ duck and geese, some horses, sheep, goats and even some pigs. I would stay there again.

Friendly staff

Amazing!! Stayed here with my husband and 2 teenage kids and we all loved this château. I Definitely recommend this place. Clean and relaxing. Breakfast was superb!! Thumbs up all the way around.
