"If I could rate it a million stars, I would! This is the perfect, peaceful quiet Portuguese experience. We stayed here because it was close to the wedding venue we were attending. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the pool was the perfect cool temperature with plenty of lounge set for everyone, and the grounds were gorgeous. "Great location, beautiful place, comfortable beds, tidy rooms, but what really makes this place stand out is Cesar, who is an amazing host: super friendly, helpful, and available 24/7 for anything you need. 100% recommended, will definitely come back when I visit Porto again."

"Our stay at covelo was exceptional, the room was clean and very comfortable. Our top floor room had a view of the city and the river! Our host Beatrix gave us many suggestions to take advantage of the surrounding hiking trails as well as the many restaurants. Breakfast was supplied by the café across from our and will give you a great start to your day 😀 we would definitely stay there again! Thank you very much 😊"

"This property clearly has a home touch to it.
Very much a bed and breakfast experience.
The owner is very attentive to your needs.
The only thing we found lacking was a good restaurant nearby."
