Not only did both rooms have no pluming to the shower the main entry door was unable to be secured, it would not close or able to be locked. We abandoned this hotel and received no refund. Do not stay there. Rooms with no working plumbing!! How could holets.com list such a place? Very dissapointed.

Online pictures are deceiving

The office manager was doing all the work to run the hotel which led to poor service and maintenance of the hotel. The pool was murky and the water running through the faucets were slow and dirty.

We reserved a room with a pool view. For reasons unknown the staff was rude from the beginning. On the way to the room my partner commented he was wondering why is she angry, referring to the lady that checked us in. We were given a room with a view of the gravel parking lot. The room had a very strong musty odor. To see even a small corner of the pool we had to step outside the room a few steps. When I showed them my reservation was for a room with pool view the man got his phone and rudely said this is your name you have that room. He was not going to give us the room with a pool view that I reserved on Orbitz. We went to the room to discuss the situation. Between the foul odor, not so nice room, not having our reservation honored and the conduct of the staff , there was no way we would be comfortable staying there. There are too many other affordable nice places with wonderful staff, clean fresh smelling rooms in the area to ever stay at this place. For a few dollars more we stayed at an amazing little resort just a short distance away. I travel a lot and on a budget, I didn’t have high expectations for this place but they failed across the board. Even at the price I paid I was disappointed.

Happy with my stay: you get what you pay for :-)

Very happy with my 4-night stay at Venezia Suites Resort. I’d booked a Superior Suite (1 bedroom with refrigerator and pool view): a large room with everything I needed plus a good size ensuite. Bed was big and comfortable and all linen was clean with high standard of housekeeping services provided. Property is managed by a husband-and-wife team who were always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in my stay and there are a number of choices available of good quality food. Everything I wanted was within a reasonable walking distance and I usually walked to Alona Beach (20 to 30 minutes) but if you don’t feel like walking trikes are plentiful and the trip each way is not expensive. I arranged my own transfers to and from the ferry terminal. The only possible downsides I would mention: • It’s what I would consider a budget hotel, so you are getting what you are paying for • The room had some type of emergency system with LED lights and these are quite bright, which interfered with my ability to sleep • I don’t think the TV works, but this wasn’t an issue for me, as I wasn’t really interested in watching TV • There is a small international airport on Panglao island and I got woken up every morning around 1am…but this could be an issue regardless of where you are staying • The swimming pool is cleaned every day, but I couldn’t smell any chlorine and the water looked a bit cloudy. I was happy to cool down in it for a few laps, but I kept my head above the water.

Mis-Leading - There is no Airport Transfer

This reservation was made on behalf of my son. Airport transfer was requested with full flight details given at the time of booking. Resort states airport transfer available yet no transport arrived. No communication from the resort. The resort have not yet registered their vehicles so impossible to arrange airport transfer. This is mis-leading and a disgrace to your management. c.c. file

We thought the staff was very accommodating and kind, they also spoke English well. We even got the chance to meet the owner who was very nice and knowledgeable, however I would not stay here again. All of the furniture was falling apart literally, the cable did not work nor did we have hot water, the kitchen sink was hanging off the hinges and the bathroom was disgusting. There was bugs everywhere and no drinking water. We woke up one morning to no power, wifi, or running water for a few hours. The staff informed us that the hotel was under renovations however it was not acceptable. I had a big group and was only in town for two nights so we just stuck it out. I would not recommend this hotel until after renovations.

Great staff efficient and friendly.

The property itself has a lovely pool. The staff are great. Alona the manager can't do enough to make the stay a happy one. Facities generally good for philippines. It is a couple of yo the main beach so quieter and family friendly. A motorbike (350 php a day from Alina beach) or trike is a good idea. Great street food across the road.

Lovely new hotel

We stayed just one night after extending our stay and we were very impressed! The room was huge and very clean with a good shower and AC. We appreciated having the large container of drinking water as most hotels had only small bottles contributing to a lot more plastic waste. They also had a ton of TV channels (including English ones). The pool was refreshing though we wished there were outside showers. We had a car and it was very nice to have parking bit without a car or scooter it didn’t seem to be walking distance to anything. Breakfast was a little disappointing compared to other similarly priced hotels we stayed at in Bohol. They had the usual eggs and toast or rice but no fresh fruit and no milk for Nescafé coffee just creamer. Service was very pleasant overall!
