Enjoyed our stay

Location was a little outside the main beach area but its walkable and they offer tuk tuk service. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the actual property itself is beautiful

My wife and I loved our stay at Birds of Paradise! The hotel is so comfortable and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is gorgeous and pool/grounds well maintained. Truly an oasis with Alona Beach, 10m walk away or complementary rides.

Room was nice. Though staff were very polite, there was a little bit of confusion at the front desk about the evening meal. Also, change for a 1000 php is scarce, which is needed because surprisingly vendors do not have change for the 1000 denomination issued by ATMs. Other hotels have change to accommodate this issue.

Overall, great place.

Pool Villas were beautifully decorated and it was great having our own pool. It is tucked away and quiet and hotel does offer free tricycle rides to/from the hotel. I gave one less star because breakfast could use some improvements. Although there were fans around the food to keep the flies/bugs away, it did NOT keep the birds from flying onto the food tables to eat off of the serving spoons while the workers were busy. Overall, it was a great stay.

Beautiful place. Villas are perfect and private. Excelent breakfast with lots of choices. Merienda/snack is a bonus. Friendly staff. Rec. Merienda signage did not match what was actually served. Villa outside flooring in patio and pool area all the same color despite having to step up/down. Tripping hazard. My 88 year old mother did not notice it. She tripped and fell resulting in a bump on her head and very dark bruising around her eyes, knees and right hand. Staff provided ice, when asked and herbal leaves which my mom requested. Suggest better visual demarcation when a step is present.

We like the hotel very much, they arranged transport for us and sightseeing and it works very well up to our expectations. We also appreciate the very kind and helpful lady during our check-in. What worked very badly was check-out. Unavailability to pay by card and incapability to bring any other options in place..., we almost missed our boat to Cebu because of it.., we guaranteed our booking with our credit card, booked through Expedia, so we have never imagined it could be a problem to take money from our card or tell us during check-out that cash only and we would prepare the cash. Finally, we offered a couple of solutions and someone from the staff went with us to the ATM to collect the money. We were very upset and super stressed, hopefully, the hotel will take something from it as we didn't appreciate this stressful experience. during our honeymoon.

Best boutique hotel in Panglao!

It is just perfect! The location is great, the stuff is amazing and the hotel itself is extremely cute! The stuff at the reception helps with everything, from organising tours, drivers, amazing massages to dinner reservations. We just loved staying here. When we go back to Panglao, we won’t stay anywhere else, for sure!

Great little hidden getaway

This small hotel is tucked away just a quick ride from the beach and nightlife. It is perfect if you want a quiet retreat after a day at the beach or on tours. Wonderful pool, nice bar. I wish they food at the bar in the afternoon. They provide a free shuttle to the beach and shops during the day but paying for one at night isn't expensive. It's also only about 15 minute walk. Very nice place to stay.

Worth a visit

Lovely and beautiful hotel. The rule of not bringing your own food and drink except water into the room without a fine is a bit much but easily ignored. Parking is a challenge but its the Philippines.

Amazing property. It's tucked inside the town but it feels like its own paradise because of the architecture and layout of the hotel. They also provide a shuttle to the main town, which is also about a 10-15 min walk. And they can take you to the airport for 200pesos in a tuktuk which is a pretty good deal (they're also close to the airport). The wifi was pretty good, the air conditioner works really well that I actually had to turn mine off cause it is really cold haha. Pleasant staff. Great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing, their awesome attitudes, hospitality, and attention to detail was captivating. I actually went to the manager Sheila and asked if they had an engagement package? Not only did she and the staff put together what will go down as one of the best nights of our lives, but they did it in a matter of hours. I highly recommend birds of paradise and it's staff.

Our family stayed for six nights in a two-story pool villa, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The most significant issue was the lack of convenient access between the first and second floors. Instead of having an internal staircase connecting the two levels, there was an external staircase that made it difficult to move around. This was particularly inconvenient for families with younger children who needed constant supervision. The breakfast was also disappointing. There was a dining table in front of the villas, near the pool, but the kitchen was located at the back and outside, which made it difficult to prepare and serve food. Additionally, the facility was far from the restaurant and bars, and the narrow road made it unsafe to walk at night.

잘쉬고가요. 풀장이 작지만, 오붓하게 놀기 좋아요. 아침에 새들의 지저귐으로 깨니, 기분이 너무 좋더군요. 아침 뷔페는 작은 편이지만 오믈렛과 홍콩식 와플은 맛있어요. 베이컨은 육포같은데 아들이 아주 좋아하네요. ㅎㅎ 바나나는 필리핀치고 약간 별로였어요.
