"The resort offers beautiful ocean views, several pool options, and great trails for exploring nature, where you may see monkeys and other beautiful sights. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel. The only downside was a strange musty or mold-like smell in my room, which was a bit off-putting despite the room being very clean. "My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, always checking to make sure you're having a great time. The excursions were fantastic, we highly recommend the white water rafting! "The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but...

"We had a wonderful stay here. The room was gorgeous and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time at the lodge, walking the trails and relaxing at the pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We hope to return to La Cusinga in the future, it’s truly a special place. "
