"Reasonably price, conveniently located, hotel. Staid in estuary view room and got to hear frogs croaking all night (we left the sliding glass door open)!"

"The room and the bathroom had a terrible odor. The cheap carpet squares were stained and barely glued to the floor. The whole place looked run down and not well maintained. I wouldn’t want my dog to sleep in that room. We ended up leaving and cutting our weekend short. We drove nearly four hours home just to avoid having to stay there. "

"Parking was easy. At reception there were fresh cookies and coffee, and water for tea. There were a lot of steps up to our room but it was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and very hospitable. Walking distance to downtown was perfect. The skunk train, which is a draw to the area for many, lets you know that it is coming and going. It is loud. Overall, a nice stay in a super historic building. "

"I wouldn't recommend a woman who's driving solo, get a room there. I felt so unsafe there. I got there at night, and the parking lot barely had any lighting and a couple other creepy vibes. I was nervous all night."

"Tired old place with lots of hack repairs. No towel rack, broken microwave, sink, soap dispenser broken. Water was hot, and the toilet flushed. So that was good. A mattress was out in the parking lot when I arrived. I was told it was soaked by a guest’s leaking ice chest, I asked if they were throwing it out, “nope just drying it in the sun”. They then dragged it back in. Pretty gross, Maybe a health violation. Anyway I wish them well and suggest increasing their maintenance budget, the place does have good “bones” and potential. Staff was helpful, and polite."
