Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. The room was clean, but we ran into several issues during our stay. The TV was still in demo mode and couldn't be used properly. There was also a strange, persistent noise coming from the refrigerator—unplugging it didn’t help—and it drove me a bit crazy throughout the night. The hot water was only lukewarm, and the heater unit didn’t seem to work correctly. However, the front desk staff were responsive and helpful. They answered our call right away and brought up an extra blanket and a portable heater, which made things much more comfortable. The room was also quiet; we couldn’t really hear our neighbors. Thankfully, we were only staying one night.

Room smelt clean but, wasn't very clean. Room is WAY smaller than the picture they advertise. The bed is hard and very springy. The framing of the bed is significantly larger than the mattress itself allowing you to see underneath the bed and clearly they have never cleaned there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Clean. Good enough bed. Nice towels. Older motel with a bit of an upgrade. We received a key for a room that was occupied. I needed an extra blanket…bed covers very light…and the office staff very grumpy to give me one. “Use the heater.” I’d had turned it on and was still cold. No coffee maker or iron.

Our room was a suite with a separate bedroom for the kids micro fridge and a full stove bathroom has double sinks which was nice room was quiet and we had a nice stay glass beach within walking distance and pudding creek beach a 1 minute drive
