"The room smelled like smoke I told staff about it and when I checked out they tried to blame it on me. The lady at the desk was the rudest, judgmental person I have ever met. It probably because of my race being black. "

"Upon arrival, the room had unpleasant odor and there was a noticeable amount of hair on top of the bed. I had to use disinfectant spray and perfume and ended up doing some cleaning myself. We arrived late after along trip, so we decided to keep the room. Additionally, guests with disabilities should be aware that there’s no elevator, which may make access difficult."

"Don’t get me wrong room was clean more of a older hotel for sure the line was long for check in only 2 people working parking is horrible so I recommend valet for 45$ a night and they also don’t have a elevator so expect a 1hr of waiting for your luggage if you have a lot. As we struggled to find our room the key didn’t work so I had to go back and wait in line to get new keys?! Definitely won’t be staying here again. "

"Beautiful view of the ocean and shoreline from the room. At high tide, the waves crash right up against the property. The view of the ocean from inside the room makes you feel like you are on a cruise. Great access to the beach. Bachir welcomed us when we arrived and gave us the ideal room. He was very friendly and warm. He made us feel well taken care of."

"It was just ok. The real problem is you can hear other guest at early morning hours! My friends that were traveling with us had a $6000 charge that was traced to Beachcomber Motel. They had paid for stay with their credit card at Motel. I was concerned that my credit card could also be compromised, but the front desk said, that since I used a 3rd party to book I needn’t worry! She wasn’t very contrite about the issue and I will not book a stay there ever again. "

"Wonderful place to stay in Laguna very reasonable given prices of other hotels in the area in proximity to beach. Some minor comments only — parking is a bit expensive, blackout shades/blinds would be helpful, also no early morning music, please(!). But will definitely come back again – thank you!"

"When I read the reviews on Expedia, it said very good so I trusted what they said well, it was like staying in a box. It was so tiny and not up to my standard for cleanliness. The staff was OK but acted like they really didn’t wanna be there I would never recommend staying here. And I was quoted one price and had proof a picture of it and they charged me $30 more on Expedia website and they will do nothing about it to help me out so I’m gonna go through my bank and get my money back.
