Otranto was one of our favorite cities in Salento. Amazing location walking distance to the main sights, incredible apartment with terrace facing the ocean. The staff was incredibly helpful, Sergio and Caterina helped us with restaurant reservations and luggage transport. Breakfast was not included. The welcoming bottle of sparking wine was a great touch. Parking was easy to find with the instructions provided, but an extra fee. Communication was prompt and the staff was welcoming. Grazie Sergio and Caterina.

This is a beautiful property right in the heart of Otranto. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the harbour and breakfast was varied and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a real treat to stay here. The golf cart to assist with luggage from the free parking (a 10 minute park) was a bonus.

Loved our stay at Palazzo De Mori! We arrived past the usual check in time and Sergio helped us with very informative instructions on how to get into the property and access our room - such a relief! Georgetta on front desk provided some excellent restaurant recommendations - thank you! Rooms were clean and nice with a beautiful view of the port. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the homemade lemon cake! A beautiful time here and we have already recommended to family and friends.

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful property with nice rooms in a good location. Great views from the terrace. Most impressive is the excellent service provided by all of the team. The best part of stay was view from reception patio which overlooked the bay. Extremely convenient WHEN you got to,hotel. Bit of a trek from car park but ok Room did not have a view and was rather small Also no lift and about 30 winding steps to room But if you can handle that everything else was excellent and the location lovely.

Lovely old but renovated hotel with tasteful decor. Staff were friendly and generally helpful. Parking €10 for the stay which is good value but be warned its a good 10-12 mins walk with steep stairs to access the car park (the hotel offer a lift service but charge €15 each way). The junior suite we stayed in was on ground floor level into the street. It had no air con but the old dark building manages to keep the place cold. We noticed an instant musty smell every time the windows were closed as such for air circulation we slept with the window/door in each room partially open but all night there was loud noise from the outdoor bar down the street (& nightclub on weekend night) plus people coming up and down, from 4-5am then the birds start waking up! Not relaxing or suitable for light sleepers. Breakfast was quite a limited selection of healthy foods (other hotels we stayed in the region had more options though) but they did restock regularly and the balcony is lovely overlooking the port. My herbal tea was served luke warm each day (it barely changed colour), as was the coffee on 2 of the days we stayed. Overall would not stay again.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in in Italy. The view was outstanding, the room perfect -- an interesting touch, they had several different densities of pillows to choose from, the location couldn't be better and the breakfasts were outstanding. However I would like to say that the part that I think was best was the staff, they were all so professional yet also personable! That is not a mix you get too often, they were really great personalities and you kind of want to just hang out with them! They were very helpful, I required a little help arranging a taxi and for specific dining interests and they were eager to help. I really think Palazzo de Mori went above and beyond. If you are considering this place put it at the top of your list!

Umberto (I hope i remember his name correctly) at the front desk set me up as a single traveler with two great restaurant recommendations on consecutive evenings. Breakfast was very nice. And the morning staff even NICER! The views from the patio are enviable, if quiet, in the evening. But of you want more action it is literally a stone’s throw away. In the morning it’s am amazing place to take your cappuccino! The pictures of the patio don’t do it Justice. The real thing is much better! Free hotel parking is 0.4 miles or so from the hotel. That can be a challenge. When it’s warm, travel light! I’m looking forward to returning.

Wonderful breakfast, great variety on a beautiful terrace. Breakfast staff were very sweet. The standard room was only available when we reserved, in basement, no natural light except louvered door, bathroom tile terrible, room smelled musty. But if you are out all day exploring as we are, we tolerated it. Great location in historic center, beautiful views of harbor from breakfast terrace. No Expedia extras, had to pay for glass of wine at apertivo. Overall sufficient stay for exploring terrific old town and beaches.

The terrace at this property is delightful, looking out over the marina. A perfect spot for an aperitivo and they serve breakfast out there too. The room was well appointed and the staff were really helpful. I would stay here again

Could not ask for a cleaner place to stay in the heart of historic Otranto. Breakfast is not included not even a coffee if you ask for one. More disappointing was that Expedia stated that parking is available, which was a search criteria we used. Had to park blocks away on street paying $15/day and haul luggage to hotel. I know this can be normal in the historic areas but not sure why description stated available. Lastly i can't thank Caterina enough for all of her welcomed suggestions on things to see and places to go. We dined at 2 amazing restaurants thanks to her recommendations and making reservations for us. Beautiful view of the marina!
