This is a beautiful property right in the heart of Otranto. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the harbour and breakfast was varied and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a real treat to stay here. The golf cart to assist with luggage from the free parking (a 10 minute park) was a bonus.

Loved our stay at Palazzo De Mori! We arrived past the usual check in time and Sergio helped us with very informative instructions on how to get into the property and access our room - such a relief! Georgetta on front desk provided some excellent restaurant recommendations - thank you! Rooms were clean and nice with a beautiful view of the port. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the homemade lemon cake! A beautiful time here and we have already recommended to family and friends.

Outstanding hotel. Beautiful property with nice rooms in a good location. Great views from the terrace. Most impressive is the excellent service provided by all of the team. The best part of stay was view from reception patio which overlooked the bay. Extremely convenient WHEN you got to,hotel. Bit of a trek from car park but ok Room did not have a view and was rather small Also no lift and about 30 winding steps to room But if you can handle that everything else was excellent and the location lovely.

This is the best hotel I've stayed in in Italy. The view was outstanding, the room perfect -- an interesting touch, they had several different densities of pillows to choose from, the location couldn't be better and the breakfasts were outstanding. However I would like to say that the part that I think was best was the staff, they were all so professional yet also personable! That is not a mix you get too often, they were really great personalities and you kind of want to just hang out with them! They were very helpful, I required a little help arranging a taxi and for specific dining interests and they were eager to help. I really think Palazzo de Mori went above and beyond. If you are considering this place put it at the top of your list!

Umberto (I hope i remember his name correctly) at the front desk set me up as a single traveler with two great restaurant recommendations on consecutive evenings. Breakfast was very nice. And the morning staff even NICER! The views from the patio are enviable, if quiet, in the evening. But of you want more action it is literally a stone’s throw away. In the morning it’s am amazing place to take your cappuccino! The pictures of the patio don’t do it Justice. The real thing is much better! Free hotel parking is 0.4 miles or so from the hotel. That can be a challenge. When it’s warm, travel light! I’m looking forward to returning.

Tricky location

Hotel is located in a restricted area, pick up as promised by the hotel failed - and parking in the city caused two fines, as only locals were alowed to park - where parking as such was permitted. Suggest the hotel in the future advise legal parking as meeting point for pick-up.
