"We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Black Beach Guesthouse. The self-check-in process was super easy, and we really appreciated the location in Þorlákshöfn — just about an hour from Reykjavík and the airport. On our first night, we took a short walk to the local community recreation center, where a kind local recommended a nearby spot called Thai Sakhon. We gave it a try, and the food was great! "The bed was very comfortable. Nice to hot tub while overlooking the quaint river setting. The bathroom sink area was small but that was a minor inconvenience overall. The staff, restaurant and food was excellent.we felt pampered and recharged. Even caught a small display of the northern lights here. "
