"First, forget your Econolodge image — concrete adobe walls and a box building. This had a warm feel of a house. Look at the pictures. There was nobody at the desk, lots of written rules, but the innkeeper responded to the desk bell. The room was clean and comfortable, but during the night, our bed sounded like the metal bed springs at grandma’s house. A bit annoying and disruptive. In the morning, the cleaning staff person was friendly, gracious, and polite."
